I run my ph 5.8-6.2 (I like to keep it around 5.8 , sometimes it may rise slightly over time so I stay at the low end). I use the Canna Nutes, it makes it really easy- feed them up to six times a day- it is forgiving even if they are only fed once per day because the coco retains so much moiture and air- It's pretty forgiving.

VKush, coco is great, it easily retains moisture and holds ph, while giving it the air it needs to the roots. I have been using it for 2 seasons, IMO it's easy peasy. Hope this helps, if you go this route just always rinse your coco out before use.
