It gets totally soaked- the sand is a little depressed around the plant so it stays wet looking longer than the edges. Like 1 1/2 inches of sand topping on these. I am currently giving them 1/2 gallon each 2x daily so that is 25% of the container size which is pretty standard- no?

It is coco/ perlite 70/30 with play sand topping- And i do use bti occasionally- it just seems that the gnats show up inside as soon as it gets cold here. I don’t have a gnat problem- just a preventative measure

Topped with play sand- I didn’t have fungus gnats- but to prevent them Also they are not sitting in runoff- they are on milk crates or small pedestals

    Coco growing question

I started with 2 gallon pots and I agree- I have settled into 3 gallon. As you said- you can’t fill it up to the rim so the effective size is smaller than listed. My plants want to fall over when late in flower so the bigger pots help keep them up. Bigger than 3 would allow the plants to get to...

    Coco growing question

You can feed 2-3 times a day- As soon as it runs off there is approximately 20% oxygen in the coco. Don’t let the plant suck the runoff back in

    CO 2 question

You would not want to be in an area with anything that makes heat- you will have enough from your lights- Also- c02 levels theoretically would be higher in the basement- but in reality it’s not much different.

Forbidden Runtz on day 65 and not flowering.

Some plants will flip if you go under 18 hours of light- you can try to drop to 16 or 15 hours on- and that should be plenty for the autos
