    Humidity dropping very slowly

Dried a few hours. Back in the jars last night. Humidity resting at 60% in one, 57% in the other this morning. I think we’re good. Thanks again for the help.

    Humidity dropping very slowly

i reside in Arizona. Drying too fast is the challenge. I use a humidifier.

    Humidity dropping very slowly

Yes, I jarred early. Watching for mold. Should I remove from the jars for further drying or will a slower cure (continue as is) result in a better end game?

    Humidity dropping very slowly

Jarred my harvest 4 weeks ago. At first, humidity registered in the high 80’s. Burped daily. Levels currently sitting in low 70’s. I’m concerned that it’s taking such a long time…or, is longer better?

Yep. Tried their Skunk. Not even close.

    Vintage Aroma

Perhaps it’s old age setting in on my sensory receptors, but it sure seems to me that the aromas of yesteryear are nowhere to be found amongst present-day strains. In the 70’s you would walk into a concert venue (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc.) and be met with a wet, thick, dank, almost...

    Kumaoni for CBD Tincture

Apologies…new to rollitup. Please let me know if this post is more appropriate for another forum… I’m curious as to whether other members here have grown kumaoni to make CBD tincture.

Harvesting Head High vs Body High

I agree…the “renowned” landtrace strains are but a thing of the past. Sad, which conjures another interesting thought…I have yet to find the aroma of the weed smoked at the rock concerts of the ‘70’s. Some strains come close, but none can match the dank skunkiness I remember. Find that and I’ll...

True landtrace strains can be found here. Angus is a class act. https://therealseedcompany.com/

Harvesting Head High vs Body High

It is my understanding that indicas produce a body high, relaxing, best for evening use…sativas produce a head high, energizing, for daytime use.

Harvesting Head High vs Body High

Going to let her fully ripen…it’s the only way to determine whether she’s a sativa or indica. I took clones earlier and have a mother indoors. I’ve never seen such thick buds throughout. Grown from seeds obtained from Northern Afghanistan.

Harvesting Head High vs Body High

Thanks for the reply. I have one plant…unknown strain…that shows characteristics of both sativa and indica. Likely a hybrid. Not sure how to harvest her. Take her early, or wait until I see more amber. It is a quandary.

Harvesting Head High vs Body High

3rd year grower here. Still learning the ropes. Question…I’m prepping to harvest this season’s outdoor grow…a garden of both sativa and indica plants. Will harvesting an indica early in the harvest window provide for more of a head high…on the flip side, will taking a sativa late in the widow...

    Mazar-I-Sharif???

Thanks for the response. Whatever it is, it’s amazing. Heavily loaded with bud and the aroma will knock your socks off. Without question, she is my girlfriend from this year’s grow. Even gave her a name…Shahrazad.

    Mazar-I-Sharif???

Seeds were obtained from northern Afghanistan. Grew very well outdoors in southern Arizona with daily temps at 100° plus for the majority of the growing season. Thought at first that I had some Mazar-I-Sharif, but they lack red stems and pink/ref stigmas. Anyone have any thoughts what the strain...

    No Roots

Thanks for the response. I can no longer take cuttings as the plant is now in flower. Yes, I change water (new bottles) every three days. I appreciate your suggestion about alternate methods and clearly I need to move in that direction, however, my immediate concern is to save what I have, which...

    No Roots

I’ve been growing both indoors and outside for three years and have never had an issue with clones until now. I take cuttings and place them in bottles of spring water until roots appear. To date I’ve had about a 50% success rate using this method. Currently, I have several Mazar-I-Sharif...
