in that picture specifically they are just on my kitchen counter. Later I ended up with 2 phenos that were a foot taller at least than the two shorties, I had the light low, but the old girl turned the tip of 2 buds white as snow, so I had to back it up. Would have liked it quite a bit closer...

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

Absolutely. I have always felt that we don’t quite get the quality of sun that Cali does in my region, also in the Adirondacks, your hard pressed not to be shaded at some point in the day.

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

We’ll grab 20, cause I had 10 and I got 6 poppers and all of em are ladies :wall:…man nothing ever quite matches up to the movie trailer in my head when it happens in real life.

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

Lemon cherry gelato bag seeds everywhere as their own thing and people claim any version of the S1’s lineage suits them. You can say it’s a product of the LCG’s parents and skip the fact it’s a bagseed, you can be straight up and say it’s a unique bagseed from this plant, you can give it a name...

I could see to that cross leading to something special that would shine in this region for sure ATF x Acapulco Gold :weed:

Even then, you at best only know what the breeder believes, he thinks he’s got gelato 45, but maybe it’s a different pheno, or a cross or a bagseed, and some of these newer strains we don’t know the lineage on, it’s all hush hush, makes you wonder if they even know themselves.

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

The only thing I can say is that it has for me. If I get something and pass it on, I tell the person what it was sold to me as, and then i will let them know if I think that’s true. Like when I get a haze, I’m very hard to convince that’s what it is, cause nobody is flowering 16 weeks for the...

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

We always would get northern lights in the late 90’s early 00’s but it’s hard telling in our area of st. Lawrence county we would get a lot of the bud meant for the city coming down from Canada through the Native American reservation. By the time I was old enough to partake, most of the bud in...

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

I have heard that adk gold is a climatized Acapulco gold. That’s the story I’ve got, and it makes sense, name wise. In reality I’ve seen a lot of afghan genetics do very well up here, also the Dutch genetics used to do well. I’m trying to make some new climatized strains for outdoor, using...

Looking for strain grown in the Adirondak’s but the old heads

Any luck on finding the gold? I’ve been looking for a few years, found a local lead last fall, a guy “who knew someone who knew someone”. The typical unicorn cut story, but never materialized.

    Outdoor in the Adirondack

I’ve got some deep chunk, that’s a fast flower 7 weeks or so, that I’m excited to breed with one of my longer flowering strains to see if I can climatize it to grow better outdoors up here. That is the pet outdoor project for the summer. I also plan to grow one or two gush mints like I did...

    Outdoor in the Adirondack

Depending on where you are in southern Ontario you could be south of me…or we could almost play catch across the water. I am 500 feet from the st. Lawrence river. Looking over at you guys right now lol. :eyesmoke:

    Outdoor in the Adirondack

They are 15 gallons, but those plants were a lot smaller than they could have been, I didn’t get them out until July, just wasn’t possible before then under the circumstances, this year will be much better, if Mother Nature cooperates of course.

Why won't my dewaxed bho slabs stabilize?

I have had this experience, and I tell myself the viscosity of each strain will be noticeably different and even within a strain from batch to batch to a degree, so the bubbles just must have a harder time penetrating some than others. But yeah, once it goes flat after the initial purge, I will...

Why won't my dewaxed bho slabs stabilize?

That makes sense, the best consistency run, or I guess a better way to put it is the closest to what I intended for was a run I did with no water bath, I just let it sit on the counter until it got above freezing, then I put it in the purging vessel, and put that in the chamber with no heat...

Why won't my dewaxed bho slabs stabilize?

really! I was under the impression that at low temp you could expect 72-96 hours, that with my shitty little chamber set up was my window, but using a nice oven for the first time I was expecting it to be quicker for sure, but in hours! Or did I misread? How long do you purge generally for a...

Why won't my dewaxed bho slabs stabilize?

The thing is that I didn’t notice any change in size with the bubbles, when vacuum was first pulled, within the first minute, the bubbles as the formed closer to the center of the extract would start small, but by the time the rose to the surface the were between pea and dime sized
