Oh it definitely grows slow in veg but its structure is overall tall and lanky. Doesn't bush out like many others. Stems are super thick which is nice but it's just a pain to grow. And yes, if not grown properly, the yield is low but it makes up for it in quality.

Yeah both GMO and MAC1 always outgrow everything in my garden 2:1. Royal pain in the ass to keep variety in the rotation.

Very good advice. I was about to say the same things. By week #4 of flower you will know what buds are going to produce and which ones will just be fuzz. Being a new grower, I will tell you that if you truly want big buds, then DO NOT get sucked into keeping every little tiny popcorn bud growing...

Agreed. I run Blue Cookies and she is not a difficult plant to mess with. 9 weeks for my pheno and she is completely done. Short bushy plant with large colas.

Have you checked the trics to see if some are amber? I would highly recommend taking the plants to the full 8-9 weeks (or however long the strain goes for). Not 100% sure of your strain and what the finishing times are but the last few weeks (if needed) would not only add weight but most...

I typically veg for 4 weeks. Short bushy plants. If I went 5-6 weeks I may push slightly more but I really like to get things running on a tight schedule.

Each 4x4 Fluence light is about 645 watts but pushes out more evenly distributed PAR (and much less heat) than a standard HPS 1000w. Depending on the strain, I would likely get closer to 5lbs as some strains I've grown give me 4 oz per plant in this tent but I'm more of a quality over quantity...

4lbs is not hard to achieve with a 4x8 tent as long as you maximize the grow environment. I use square fabric air pots and do 9 plants on each side of the 4x8 tent (so 18 total). The means that on average, each plant is harvesting 3.55 oz. +/- per plant. I tend to get my plants short and bushy...

Sorry, just realized that I never directly answered your question. Since my light footprint already fills my tent, I would either need a bigger tent or grow outside of the tent to add more light. But yes you can likely get more per light/watt if you change the environment.
