I know, just stating that going overboard with pollen is where unintentional seeding will occur, but in large part being careless. If your careful the plastic and spraying isn't necessary. And all the water does is keep the pollen from getting airborne

Then again after reading through, with your mold troubles maybe less rain is better. Still humid as hell here, but sunny so that's good. Good luck with the rest of your season

the buds are so sticky the amount of pollen airborne is minimal at best when using a small paint brush. If you get any seeds at all in other buds it should only be a stray here or there, you'd have to be pretty damn careless if u unintentionally seeded a whole cola using the brush method. Just...
