The description is wrong. You'll see the difference if you look at the color makeup of the diodes in the UV vs HO models.

These look like they may be a step up from Blackstar 2012s. The company, VMInnovations used to sell Blackstars. The description is incorrect where they state "Designed specifically for vegetative growth" for the UV model as they also have a HO version which is definitely a veg model...

I've got 2 260s. They work fine, just a little loud in the fan department. I don't see the 550 on their website anymore. I'd love to get a 260x.

It was under some T-5 for the first 4-5 weeks. It was the strain more than my skill. I didn't do anything different than anyone else would do. It was about 24" tall when done, but had shed most of its fan leaves so there was no shading. The buds were like concrete. I highly recommend this...

I got a couple Area 51 sgs-160s and I think the best coverage is going to be 24" wide by 30" long over 2' plants. For the price of 1 Area 51, you could buy 2 Blackstar 240s, a couple of E.shines, Cidlys or Bysens etc. and be very happy. 2 Area 51s in that space would be the ultimate!

I'm still confused, are you using the Floranova Bloom or the Grow. I hope it's the Bloom. I'm using some as we speak (with liquid Kool Bloom). The best nutes for me with DWC/LED have been Sunleaves Rockwool Formula One (it's a 2 part, made in Canada by Technaflora) Used with liquid Kool Bloom...

That's a flowering lamp (and not a good one at that). Only 2 bands. Look for one that has a fuller spectrum or states that it's specific for vegetative growth (look for white diodes).

SS400w would be perfect for that space. They do run hot though. You will need to evacuate the heat above the light. Some led spotlights or cfl/pll would be all you need down low, if any at all.
