    Are LED's practical for a grow room? (24 ft x 12 ft)

If I had just a few lights and heat was an issue maybe. But I have great systems that kill it and I wouldn't jeopardize perfectly fine setups for technology that I have heard nothing but bad things about from other larger scale growers. Like I said before, might work ok on a small scale but...

    PRUNING QUESTION!! PLEASE HELP ME

Yea, as long as the lights are on. I never enter my rooms during the dark period unless something has to be sprayed. In which case I have a green LED rope light on the ceiling so I can see. 99% of the time I don't have to spray anything, just for emergencies

I guess I have to repeat my self. Heat can be managed easily. Air cooled lights & AC are just a couple that work very well. Why would you not be able to manage heat? Fire hazard? Its called upgrading the breaker and wire size. It will cost less than $100. I can walk you through any electrical...

    Are LED's practical for a grow room? (24 ft x 12 ft)

If your growing in a larger space HID is the way to go IMO. There is a reason why everyone with a warehouse/large space uses HID. I know quite a few people with 20+ lights (inducing my self) and everyone uses 1000w DE hps. IMO most of the led advocates grow on a smaller scale. That you tube...

Bay Area Cali Marijuana. how does it look?

Definitely would be in your best interest to start form scratch. A new plant will out grow and out produce that one easily. Imo I would get rid of that one. It will probably pollinate any other plants you have when it herms out.

Definitely need to have a electrical knowledge to wire one of these up. If you know how to wire an outlet to a breaker you can do it your self. I recommend using an electrician if you don't have electrical knowledge though, a lot of things can go wrong if it is done wrong.

I use the titan controls helios 8. It does up to 8 1000w lights. For 4 600s you could use a titan controls helios 4 if your going 240v (which I recommend). The helios 4 needs a dedicated 30 amp breaker. If your going 120 use the titan controls helios 2. The helios 2 needs a dedicated 50 amp...

Gavita is also designed for supplemental lighting in green houses so they put off a large footprint. The ac/de like what I use, has a more concentrated light thats meant for smaller footprints, like 4x4-5x5. I use 4x4. He's wasting a lot of the light by having them up that high. He even says a...
