also its not nessecarly freezing the butane, its more of freezing the lipids and fats and other crap together so when you run it through the filter it all catches as one big piece.

This is whats currently getting used. the heating pad on the bottom is usually wrapped around the side and there is a hot plate underneath. this has helped keep steady temperatures throughout the chamber so there is no big temperature fluctuations.

ti domeless nail or ti castle however you want to call it is the best. you can look up DIY vac chambers where you could get everything and make it yourself for a decent rice. ebay sells them also

ditch the candle warmer and invest in a cheap heating pad from walmart or target. those only get to a temp that is still comfortable to touch (100 - 110) any higher of a temp isnt good. even then you need a vac chamber. Just pony up and spend the cash, its only your health were talking about...

flipping it over isnt really aggitating it, maybe folding it into eachother would be aggitation, when these guys are getting that clear clarity they are most likely winterizing with ethanol alcohol (ethyl alcohol)

go get your self a laser thermometer to measure all parts of your chamber. sounds like a temp issue. also how thick are you laying it down. i find best to spread a thin layer on parchment paper or some silicon pads also flip it over every 45 minutes or so. with this method im easily purging...
