General Rule of Thumb- The roots will probably as deep and wide as the plant is tall and wide...... If they are entangled.. before transplanting- make sure that you hit up the plants with some type of B12 (ex. Superthrive) to avoid shock

We grow year round here... Go to the Hawaii Growers thread and most questions about growing here are answered.... I prefer short season to long season as you get to grow a bunch of varieties within a few months instead of waiting 5 months for long season and the helicopters it brings! Places...

I do not add any nutrients in the first 3 weeks. Some folks even avoid using fox farms ocean forest cause they claim it's "too hot" I use 1/3 Fox Farms Happy Frog 1/3 Recycled Soil, 1/6 Perlite, 1/6 Coco Coir for my soil mixtures for outside... Great Results... When starting from seeds...
