    Why 30" From Light?

Oh geez man, I try to go out of my way not to look at that thing.

    Why 30" From Light?

I would do the math to determine the distance in inches, but I haven't got a clue how to do that high level arithmetic.

    Why 30" From Light?

Ok I'll move it up, but it still seems like a wierd thing to do. I thought that the heat was the limiting factor. This is my bulb. I'm running a Lumitek ballast at 1,000 watts. I don't like the Super Lumens thing, seems like a gimmick. http://4hydroponics.com/1000w-ultra-sun-hps-lamp

    Why 30" From Light?

Is bleaching the first symptom of having the light too close? I don't mind moving the light away, if it's going to help my plants but it seems to be counter intuitive to do that when I just spent money to get more light by upgrading from the 600w to the 1kw light.

    Why 30" From Light?

Wow that went right over my head. Math was my D'Angelo Bailey in school.

    Why 30" From Light?

I have never experienced any bleaching, even under a 24 hour schedule, what does that look like?

Liquid Bloom additives are a complete waste...

It's not a computer program, it's a plant. You dont need instruments and calibrated ferts to grow it. Scrap all that BS and learn to read the leaves, they are far more accurate than any digital display, and never need calibration. The only meter I have or will ever need is my thermometer/hygrometer.

    Why 30" From Light?

I regularly see people posting that they are keeping their 1,000 watt lights ad distances of 20 or 30 inches from the plant tops. Why do people do that? I have a 1kw HPS and the plants (including a sprout from day 1) are about 12-14" from the center of the filament within the bulb. My temps are...

ISC Chicago Customs and Attitude seeds

Ok I will try to remember. They can make it right, or they can delete the email, and I will delete their information from my computer. Many places on the planet to get seeds from, I can continue through Attitude or go elsewhere, it's up to them.

Although next to impossible to tell, the compactness of the growth even under lower than ideal lighting is a pretty good indicator of it being a female.

I just ordered successfully from Attitude I guess they shipped it to Spain, then to here in the US. The seeds were small and underdeveloped, but they both sprouted. One is an incredibly slow grower and I won't be ordering from them again. When I pay 10$ for a seed, I expect it to be huge...

It will do ok, if kept small. You just don't want a 4 foot tall beast growing under a smaller light.

Just teasing you friend. If you can step up the wattage, you will be a very happy farmer. :-)

It's the holidays. Due to the high volume of packages coming through, the wait times have increased, but so have your chances of sneaking that pack of seeds through.
