My very first grow, and my babe has been in the system for 2 months and 2 weeks now
Have gradually upped the ppm every week and a half to two weeks and will max out at 900 ppm(currently at 800)
Just wanting to kno if u think it's too soon to be thinkin about cloning. If so, how much longer...
With this plant I intend on making it my mother plant. I'm still figuring out if now is a good time to start plucking a few clones or if I should let it get a little bit bigger.
Sort of just winging it cause as mentioned before this is my first grow.
Have FINALLY broken down and got me some WiFi so I'll be able to reply a little bit more expeditiously, again I apologize for that fam. Hope every goin ok with u tho man.
Things been goin great over here man, plant has been developing great, I think.
I'm thinking about cutting these lower...
Ay I appreciate that man, and I hate that I can't post on here more(cut my Internet to save a lil money) so I try and use the opportunities I have access to WiFi to post the pics i've taken so u have to excuse me for the delays. I definitely see your reply backs and add all the advice u give...
It's been exactly 3 weeks today since I've put her in the DWC system. Tell me if u notice anything that I can improve on....ppm is only at 200 and I've been top feeding with distilled water for the past week and a half so I'm not sure why they leaf tips are yellow.
Also have the bulb set to 750...
I change out the reservoir every four days and today is a scheduled a change and I'm definition going to have to lower the ppm to 200 cause as ucan see the top leaves are a bright green and the first ones are starting too change color at the tips.
Probably going to top feed with a gallon of...
I get what you mean. But a couple things about that:
1. I have one of those bluelab ppm sticks so they don't really tell me an exact ppm number.
2. None of my roots have touched the water yet so I'm not sure if the ppm would be affected yet? Any nutes my plant's getting are from me top feeding...
Coming up on a week in the dwc system and she hasn't folded over and died so all is good I suppose. But am I overfeeding or do new leaves come in a brighter green as such.....
As you can see from my setup I can't really lower the lights and even with me putting the bucket on a stool it's still like 52" away from the bulb so maybe turn the ballast up to 750w?
Using tap water, tested it alone and it's roughly 100ppm. Just now added some nutes and the ppm is somewhere...
I just went ahead and scrapped all the nutes and have just water in the reservoir in fear of an overdose and I kept the lights on a complete 24 hrs and my baby starting to look like this....
Should I have kept the nutes in? Is she getting too much light? This is annoying.
Ppm somewhere between 300-400 ppm(bluelab stick didn’t commit to either.)
And the distance from the bottom of the bulb to the top of the seedling is 5' or so at 600w so i'll give that a run for 24 hrs.
What are the signs that you're giving the seedling too much or too little lighting tho?
And...
Yes at the moment I can, Imma wait til tomorrow tho so I can set up a schedule.
1.) do this until the roots hit the water and gradually up the ppm right?
2.) I think I stated this earlier but I have a 1000w MH and my ballast is dimmable down to 600w (600,660,750,825,1000,1150w)
Should I start...
Done. And the seedling hasn't folded over and died yet so I guess all is well for now, I just for some reason feel like its something I should be doing
And I have the root riot inside one of the slots of an ice cube tray, that won't construct root development will it?
And so am I just sitting back waiting and watering the cube occasionally until this process happens or is there something I should be doing to ensure it actually happens.
And speaking of which would that ice cube tray suffice for the time being
Yeap, light was on all yesterday. I wanna believe it's bending cause I had a fan blowing DIRECTLY on the seedling like a noob the entire 24 hrs as well. But say that is the reason, how long will it be before more leaves start forming
I have two more seeds and two root riots soaking in pH...
