    Too bushy?

I always appreciate others suggestions....every grow is more education and tweaking. I may consider trying to condense my nutrient recipe in the future...gets a bit much with the current 6 or 7 formulas I mix currently...lol. I've been doing this off and on for over 10 yrs but never had the...

    Too bushy?

Thanks! Yes I'm using full line....not skipping anything. Only thing besides their line I use is hydroguard....I've always had good success with root zone using that....so I kept that in my schedule.

    Too bushy?

Thanks for the advice....I thought I was on a pretty good path...I guess everyone has different ideas....I felt they looked pretty healthy and as stated in my post above the suggested nute formula at the flip changed the N content a bit anyway. As far as the sidelight....certainly can't...

    Too bushy?

So you wouldn't have stopped the grow? I was following the Remo nutes guidelines exactly. They remove the grow formula at flip and add the bloom along with their micro, astroflower, magnical, and kelp. Like I said a few of those have N in them that wasn't present in their veg feeding...

    Too bushy?

Thanks for the advice....I agree the t5s are most likely overkill....was kind of expirementing is all. I also switched to a new nutrient line from the general hydro line to remo. I removed the "grow" at the flip which was primary source of N, however, looking at the bloom, astroflower, and...

    Too bushy?

I am not one who ever defoliates in flower. I top twice after I see 6 nodes in veg....then again about a week later to try and get 4 colas. I do light defoliation 1 week before flip then typically leave them unmolested til harvest. This is my first run with these blue mystic clones I got. I...

Should I top now or later??

General rule of thumb is not to top until 5-6 nodes of growth. Can't tell for sure from picture but looks like about three on yours. I'd wait a bit.

    Drip ring DWC vs DWC....

This is the exact pump I have. I will say it does run a bit warm and has a decent hum to it when running which if you need absolute discretion in your grow room the noise may be a bit undesireable...

    Drip ring DWC vs DWC....

I used to worry about the diminished air supply when running drip ring in my dwc setup. I have multiple gh powergrower units. I worried when I used the provided single output small air pumps. They moved on average between 3-6 liters/min air to the unit split between ring and bottom resevoir...

    Need nutes???? Help

I agree with half strength...and not to state the obvious but make sure it includes N or grow formula at a minimum.

    Using T5 as sidelights?

I think I'm gonna try 4 of each in one of the sidelights alternating bulbs and leave other sidelight all 3000k bulbs and see if there is a difference. Might be a good expirement.

    Using T5 as sidelights?

I don't think I can use 4 ft leds in my current t5 fixtures. I need to check though....I like that idea a lot!

    Using T5 as sidelights?

I never thought of that....I'm using the typical 3000k bloom bulbs currently but certainly have 6500k spares that I use in veg. Maybe 4 3000k and 4 6500k in each fixture?

    Using T5 as sidelights?

Thanks for the reply. I figured it would be worthwhile and in the grand scheme of things the extra 2 t5s running isn't pulling that much more. I've regularly pulled .60-.70 grams/watt without the sidelights. The t5s are rated 400w each but I can't imagine it will equate to an additional...

    Using T5 as sidelights?

If there isn't any input I will be able to let you know at the end of the grow. I'm running clones of plants I have grown exactly the same setup before, just minus the sidelights. So I will be able to do a pretty good yield to yield comparison.

    Using T5 as sidelights?

I've looked through forums and don't see much on this subject. I am trying a new setup and wondering if I'm wasting electricity. I run 2 600w hps over 6 five gallon dwc systems. I'm trying a 4 foot 8 bulb t5 flouro hanging vertical sideways on each side of my setup about 4 inches away from...
