The cost of purchasing and running one would be prohibitive to me unfortunately. I live in a country where no homes, and only about 75% of shops, have air conditioning. It rains a LOT and while the summer gets to 20-25°C , the other seasons get cold, so houses focus on heating and insulation.

Agreed, I don't want to lose those terps! Which is why finding a dryer like this one which goes as low as 20°C, to mimic optimum hang drying temperature, took me so long. 99.9% of food dehydrators have 35°C as the lowest temp which is just way too hot

Thanks for your reply. Given that the HerbsNow dryer doesn't take away flavour, terps, or give a hay taste, what would make this one do that? I'm not trying to be confrontational at all, just trying to understand the difference between this item and the HN dryer so that I can learn what makes...
