    pro mix or coco

Lol I don't think you are stupid or mean to come across that way. I'm just saying that there is ton of information regarding how to use coco, which is why I find it surprising there were so many people in this thread on a weed growing forum that are treating it like soil.

    Correct temperatures with leds

Yeah not sure why your leaf temps would be so low. My leaf temps are usually only a few degrees lower than my ambient temps.

Read the plethora of information that has been published regarding how to properly grow in coco since it seems you have been living under a rock. Maybe a pet rock? Named balboa?

    AZ Winter Greenhouse Grow

If it was strictly dependent on the 12hrs then all outdoor plants would begin flowering during the autumnal equinox (Sep. 22). This is not the case though, I've had plants begin flowering in july when the days are still ~14hrs. The grows you saw could of been deps. I ran deps to flower year...

    AZ Winter Greenhouse Grow

Your plants will likely reveg putting them outside after the winter solstice when the day lengths begin to increase. They will flower initially when you put them outside due to the the decrease of light hours going from indoors to out, and then will likely begin to reveg once they notice the...

2 Mars hydro ts2000s too much light?

30w per square foot minimum for quality LED’s so ~750w for a 5x5. The Mars 2000 also uses Epistar SMD diodes which aren’t all that great. What’s your budget? There are much better options out there.

    Grow Light Advice

You want at least 240w of quality white LED’s for a 2x4. Avoid the old blurples. A 4-pack of these QB 120’s and 2x of these XLG-150-24 drivers would do great in a 2x4 and would be a bit over $200. QB 120 link Driver link

    pro mix or coco

If you have even the smallest amount of common sense you will not overwater coco. Once the roots have filled the pot you can multi-feed daily without fear of overwatering. I would literally have to leave my irrigation running constantly before root rot is a possibility on my flowering plants...

    pro mix or coco

A lot of you aren’t using coco to it’s potential. You want to use smaller pots, and feeding frequently. In flower you should be feeding multiple times per day. Anything over 3 gallons is not necessary IMO. If you want to feed every 48-72 hours then you should use a peat based medium or soil...

Setting up for an indoor grow

6-9 plants in 2 gallon pots of coco if you run the 600w in a 4x4. You should be able to cool it with a single 6” in-line working as an exhaust and to air cool your 600w light, and using passive intake. If you don’t have an air cooled reflector then I would invest in one. Back off the nutes a...

    So many LED choices

30w per sq ft minimum for LED so you want at least 750w for a 5x5. There are much better options for a 5x5 space then a bunch of SF1000’s though. What’s your budget? HLG uses top bin diodes, a much better finned heatsink, and Meanwells slightly better HLG driver compared to the Meanwell XLG the...

How do you drain your runoff?

Kind of ghetto but I wanted something cheap that didn’t use up a lot of height as I have short ceilings. Made trays out of OSB & pond liner and put corrugated roofing panels inside that are elevated about 6” off the trays. I made them slanted so all the runoff accumulates in the front middle...

    pro mix or coco

Coco is great, but be sure to rinse it prior to use. I prefer the dehydrated compressed blocks. I get 5KG blocks for $10 that are ~2.5 cf after being hydrated. The loose bags of coco are usually $20-30 for 2.5 cf and even though they say double/triple rinsed they still have residual salts. I...

Basement buildout, HPS DE vs 315w CMH vs chinese QB led? 7.5’ ceilings

Are you talking about boards instead of bars? Why not just go with 240w boards instead of 320w dimmed? Will end up even cheaper.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Yeah the 320h-54 or 480h-54 would be a good match for four of either boards.

Opinions on the spider farmer SF2000

I don’t hate HLG, I plan on buying more QB 96’s in the future but I do think you give them more credit than is due. They didn’t reinvent the wheel or do anything all that innovative. All they did was configure some diodes on a board. The real credit goes to Samsung/Osram/Cree/etc. They are the...
