    I think it is time

I'd say 35% clear, 55-60% cloudy, 5-10% Amber. Any comments on the foxtailing? I'm still a relative noob, but I've suspected in my short time that the 900w @100% of lm301b goodness was a bit much for 5'x5'. I see foxtailing, new white pistils til the very end, and the leaves start looking...

    When to burp

Do you use bovida packs to keep your really old buds nice? I've had some canned for about 6 months now, but stopped paying attention to them and now they feel kind of dried out. RH is still at 55-58%, but they are definitely crispy. I may just try to make bubble with it now.

    When to burp

I suppose I’m after the “why” now. I’m curious why the gas build up/exchange is important. I’m not a chemist or biologist, so a dumbed down version would be great. However, if you have References and citations, that’d be dope too. I don’t mind digging into scientific literature, even if I don’t...

    When to burp

Yeah that was my understanding as well. Over 70% can lead to mold etc. I guess my original question still stands... is burping in the cure zone necessary?

    When to burp

Wait, you guys dump the jars to burp? I’ve just be opening the jars and shaking them a bit.

    When to burp

Hi I’m curing with tiny hygrometers in glass jars. tldr question is... Once my jars are sitting between 60-65%, is there a need to burp them anymore? When I was at 70+ I’d dump the herb back on a drying rack. Between 65-70, I was burping for about 2 hours. After a couple of weeks, Some jars...

Getting a bit anxious. Plant appears to be dying, with a couple of weeks left

Alright cool, so I don't need to worry about all the new white pistils on the top colas? I thought any defoliation, even of crispy leaves, at this stage can really stall them? While entirely acceptable in the sack, I'm assuming stalling at the very end for a cannabis plant isn't ideal. I'll...

Getting a bit anxious. Plant appears to be dying, with a couple of weeks left

I guess technically she is dying, but it looks pretty bad. This is my second grow, but none of my plants have turned this yellow towards the end thus far. The trichomes are not mostly cloud yet, the calyxs haven't really swelled, and her new white pistils appear to amassing at a rapid rate...

Cross post - Magic Butter Machine and curing

Yep I used the ardent last night. I put ground up decarbed weed in little capsules because I’m lazy and not fond of the taste of edibles. Seems to work out ok...

    Too early to tell sex?

Cool cool appreciate all the communal advice. I feel like if I stuck with feminized seeds 100% of the time I’d somehow miss out on something. An experience more than a specific genetic trait or anything like that. Good to have folks to bounce stuff off of!

    Too early to tell sex?

Alright cool. I'm going to treat them just like any other plant then and do my standard veg defoliation and LST stuff. I'll keep my eyes open... The one I uploaded a picture of is literally 4-5x bigger than the other plants I started on the same day. I've really gotta get her (hopefully) under...

    Too early to tell sex?

So should I just throw them in flower even if I have yet to determine sex? They're getting to be a decent size and I was thinking first week of December made sense based on space and such. I'm an attentive gardener, so I can check daily after I switch to 12/12. From my reading, I thought...

    Too early to tell sex?

I’m having a hard time determine the sex of my plants in veg. I don’t see balls or pistols, but I’m getting anxious as I don’t want seedy weed. I attached pictures for reference.

Coming up on week 5 and getting some burnt tips and curling

I just bought a worm farm off of Amazon and some worms from this company called Uncle Jim’s. Once or twice a week I feed them my organic waste. Banana peels, apple cores, egg shells, etc. When I checked the soil today there were dozens of worms wiggling around in there from the casting I feed...

Coming up on week 5 and getting some burnt tips and curling

Ok, so 4/5 of my plants’ have a soil pH range of 6.8-7.2. The one with lime green leaves, burnt tips, and curling read 6.81. Using a high quality Hanna meter freshly calibrated. Interestingly, the last plant had a soil pH of 7.8, but it looks healthy. Pictures attached. So I’m guessing they’re...

Coming up on week 5 and getting some burnt tips and curling

I used some Recharge last week. Used some FF Big Bloom two weeks ago. Homemade Worm Castings about 3 days ago now. I’ve been trying to keep the feeding light and all ORMI certified. I do have some already cooked subcool supersoil I can top dress with. That’ll give em a bit of everything. Never...

Coming up on week 5 and getting some burnt tips and curling

7gallon fabric pots. I actually harvested my own worm castings for the first time two days ago! I spread a healthy amount of them on top right after harvest and watered it in. The bagged worm castings I used when making the soil didn’t have any smell. This stuff though, my god. A few of my...
