That's my go to for medium sized varmints. I have a suppressor for mine and it's quieter than my pellet rifle. Anything coyote sized and up gets my AR15 in 6.8 SPC caliber which is perfect for coyotes and fox.

Mine is the same. Once I unplug the power cord it shuts down. I'm not spending 100 bucks on a battery for a 7 year old tablet though. Just gotta keep it plugged in for now and upgrade to a new laptop down the road.
