    hps to led problems

HPS lights have frequencies most LEDs do not, or very little of. LED companies think just because a wavelength isn't photosynthetically active they are not important, so they generally don't put UV or IR diodes in their lights. I've come to the opinion that UV and IR are very important to plant...

    Bigger tight buds

With autos I've found that it's best to go with a 5 gallon pot and really be careful with them the first few weeks of growth. They are so finicky until they hit their flower stage. I think lighting is far more important than what brand of nutrients you use. Most nutes are basically the same if...

    Russet mite treatments

I also use micronized sulfur to eradicate mites. My garden was being destroyed by them because I thought at first it was a deficiency or PH issue and they were way out of hand when I finally realized what it was. I tried several products to no avail and only resorted to sulfur out of...

Here's the truth, as I see it. Human beings have long been cannabis users. Our evolution is so tightly wound to cannabis that we actually have cannaboid receptor sites in our cells. Not only did we smoke the bud and eat it as medicine, we also ate the plant and ate animals who fed on the plants...

    White powder mildew (white spots)

Everyone says be careful bringing stuff in from outside. You can get this bug or that thing. That fertilizer was really stinky. Maybe it was a bad batch or had a little hole in it or something. I just think the timing was suspect. Also, soon as I watered that shit grew a gray fuzz. It is...

I quit drinking coffee and got the worst constipation in my life. I thought I was gonna have to pull it out with ice tongs. I quit in a couple stages, cutting out the energy drinks, then cutting out the coffee consumption. Each time my bowels locked up like Fort Knox. I will never drink those...

    White powder mildew (white spots)

Didn’t hurt my plants. But I’ll keep that in mind.

    White powder mildew (white spots)

Potassium bicarbonate does seem to help. I just used that. Put one tablespoon in a spray bottle of water, added 3 teaspoons of oil and 4 drops of Dawn. Shake. Spray. The oil and dawn is to make it cling to the leaves, I think. Makes it sticky so I doesn't just evaporate away.

    White powder mildew (white spots)

I suspect that I got mine from using Dr. Earth's organic tomato fertilizer. I started using it as a top dressing and within a week I had mildew and an infestation of fungus gnats. Don't use that stuff! It smells like horse manure and you will get infested. Well, I don't 100% know for sure, but...

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

It's showing new growth! It took the cut and has taken off on its own. No shock. Not even a dead leaf. I'll be doing this from now on.

    White powder mildew (white spots)

I see a lot of people complaining about it on reddit and various forums right now. Maybe it's a season thing. I'm fighting an outbreak of it right now, too. Trim the affected leaves. Spray plants with a dilution of peroxide and water. Increase air flow. Pray.

Beginning of Week 7 Flowering - noticed White powder on sugar leaf

Dilute some vinegar and peroxide in a spray bottle and douse your plants where you see the powdery mildew. Trim the affected leaves. Increase air flow. Less watering for a little while. I've read milk diluted in water and sprayed onto the leaves works well, too. I'm having a bit of an issue with...

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

I placed two more root balls this morning. One on an Amensia Fast and one on a Chocolate Skunk (I think haha forgot now). Picked a smaller, lower branch this time aaaaannnddd the ball was too heavy and dragged the branch down. I had to tie it to a larger branch. Probably should have realized...

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

it grew like normal. Had four branches by the time I snipped it free. I trimmed two off and planted it. It wilted for a short while. Gave it a couple foliar feeding with clonex spray. Last time I looked it had perked up. I cut about an inch below the root ball.

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

Pretty sure it would work that way, too. Same concept. Just different execution. Just come up from downstairs and there is a little wilting. I sprayed the leaves, gave it a little foliar feeding. Probably gonna have to baby it a little.

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

I read through your previous thread. You'll forgive me, but you didn't exactly do the same thing I've done. It's similar, but you did it to a flowering plant where what I did is more like your standard cloning job. Were you trying to clone flowering plants? I'm not sure I understand what you...

    Greenman's Experimental Cloning Method :)

Yeah, I saw some air layering videos. I think they were doing fig trees or something. Decided to try to with cannabis. I think this is a very clever way to clone and I don't know why it isn't used more often. Have you had any issues with the cloned plants thriving? Do they grow normally? I'm...

    Done or not done?

Funnily enough, this one was put into flower a week AFTER the Purple Kush. But this white widow has always been a funny one. I think it was a mutant. I've been cloning it for a while, and the clones always split into three main branches without topping. Also, it finishes really fast. I think...
