Outdoors it's possible, I've grown with little to no nutrients and come out with half decent stuff but I've done it indoors before and in my experience the buds were airy and light and one plant had dense buds but the taste was just not there... It needs some kind of nutrients to get some decent...

Personally if you have another plant in there id trash it. If it was alone you could pinch off all the balls off and see how far it goes... You could try that anyway but I wouldn't recommend it.

Pull a bud away from the branch it's drying on if it's still bends it's not ready. If you pull a bud and it leaves a stringy bit it's not ready. If you pull a bud and it snaps off its ready for jars.

In my experience you shouldn't start a plant in the sun and move it under lights it will die... Other way round is fine I always used to start my tomatoes under the lights come spring move them into the sun and they fine.

Yea ply a bud from the stem where the leaves are dying and check inside, you will know straight away the bud will be soft and fall apart quite easy.
