if I did that would have tasted salty. Currently in commercially available qty, XPG-3 G bin is the best Deep Red Available. One of the nice things with the 2835 chip from Cree is it runs cool, I had a boost board sitting on the bench no sink at 40 watts yesterday and really did not get that hot, probably helps the 2835 is rated to 480ma which is high for a mid power. Our recommendations on heatsinking are somewhat...

I would not say its a disconnect but 65PPFD per square foot is a big number relative to 1000PPFD on the canopy and suggests you want to hang em high, whats your height to canopy. 150 strips will give you very even 1000ppfd even at 36 inches but will be less that 40ppfd/sqf cheers

well Cree mid power all comes from Sanan, including the new 224 LPW 2835 and soon to arrive new HE 3030 chips, Cree has JV with Sanan
