I’ll be joining the club here once I flip! Always been a CMH fan. I have two 315w Sunlight LECs with Philips 3100k bulbs and I’m thinking 3x6 for the footprint? Don’t think a 4’ spread is doable. Any input would be much appreciated!
Dirtcraft is more of a coco mix. Don’t think they use peat. I have Buildasoil V3 and FF/Coco Loco both going and don’t notice a diff in growth so far. I transplant with Xtreme Mycos and water in the Azos to make sure it’s living. After that it’s just water and molasses unless I need to topdress...
Gotta keep this positive thread going! Hope I can help with pheno hunting rather than annoy. Out of 10 BOOs I do have one very sativa like pheno. Weird cuz she’s not branchy (yet?) but she’s got the skimpy leaves. The other two phenos seem Indica or hybrid. I like to grow one of each pheno...
I like the wild ones ;P Looking dank thus far! Looks to give you some nice up & up once done..sounds like a strain to go great with your morning coffee! Makes me want to look up coffee creamer extractions lol
@pthobson do you remember your CD phenos? I have just 2 outta the 6 I’m keeping. Were they tight node’d (big bone’d) or branchy?? I’m not topping the compact ones..
I take 2 node top cuts (after the seventh node) and dip them in water for a minute,
You can take them from the mid section up as long as the plants mature enough,
trim most leaf tips off,
put them in moist soil (in a smaller clear solo to see root development),
And put a bigger clear solo on...
Gardening be my therapy too! Nothing like the most beautiful flower in the world, the smells, and shutting the brain off...swatting gnats can be a nice stress relief as long as you don’t get burned by a bulb or snap a branch :P
I like to top no earlier than the seventh node depending on the strain and branch growth.
I usually prune the bottom two nodes right before they really start developing...usually after around 5 or 6 nodes tall. IMO it’s inefficient to let something grow out if you’re just gonna cut it later...
I think it’s 90% genetics. Idk how many times I’ve left a tent or closet open, went months without noticing a timer light being on, or had a pet peel back curtains or open doors...I usually blame genetics or if it happens often at abrupt times.
