Hi guys, I have some weird brown spots on some of my leafs on 1 or 2 plants out of 12. so i cant figure out what it could be, if they all had it ok but why only 2 to 3 plants showing this? also what the heck is this ? RDWC setup with ec of 1.7 ph 5.9 water temp 63 and using Southern AG

Let me add to this. I have done a few grows with dwc and always gone the sterli method but have never seen roots as white as i did yesterday with AG. so maybe having bennies vs sterli is better or the overall plant health?

I will jot this down and test it out.

what dosage do you do per gallon? and are all pool shock's same? I might try this out on another grow and dont want to buy the wrong one or give the wrong dose and deep fry my plants lol

By the way guys, should i be trimming this down more? i did some trimming from the top and bottom for the front row and left the back row as is to ask here 1st before i continue. I have no idea what to do in this department lol.

right now i got a grow tent with 8 of them inside using full lucas 8/16 + 2ml per gallon of CaliMag and not a single sign of tip burn. just trying to say that it might be your lights are too close maybe? My lights are right now about 6 to 10 inches from the top canopy and still no issues.

So what do you use now days? There are so many Fin different types of food that makes a person wonder? are they all just the same shit re-wrapped in different containers lol?

@rkymtnman THank you so much for recommending souther ag, i got the idea from him and it worked out perfectly. I did exactly that, took a cup and poured the water over the top of each plant to get the SAG all over the growing media. Once again thanks rkymtman :)

Agreed, I'm just really worried and don't want to risk it, so I'll keep going at this peace for a few more days then clean everything and res change then to the amount you recommended.

In case anyone wants to know dosing for AG, I added 10ml(total) to my 55gallon res on the 13th and then 20ml(total) again on the 15th. Please note this is not per gallon it's for my entire Volume of water aka 55 gallons. I plan on adding about 10 to 20 ml every 2 days until everything clears up...

Ok, makes sense, I guess ill give it a day or so to let them get some roots going and then clean them out and reapply the southern AG. This is my experiment to see how Auto's will do outside with no supplemental light during winter lol.
