Can my carbon filter be too big?

Then the fan is running too fast or there isn't enough intake capacity, try either using a fan speed controller to get the right fan speed to maintain the environment, or using some of the other duct ports on the tent as intakes, I love me an intake above the canopy, it's actually very...

    Need a fresh start , suggestions ?

Bio bizz all mix and the biobizz bottle line, it's weak, organic and you need atleast 3 of their bottles for best results, grow bloom top max, but it works and it's hard to get wrong, anything new I've grown with it likes more than the feed chart, as new genetics are generally bred to be a lot...

Can my carbon filter be too big?

I allways oversize the filter where possible, they last longer, run quieter, allow much more air through than if you were using a 4 inch filter with a 4 inch fan, literally everything is better apart from hanging the thing haha

    Air circulators for 10x10 room

Yeah so for years I've kept my extractor fans in my loft in plywood boxes stuffed with rock wool insulation, so the loudest aspect of the grow has allways been the circulating fans, to say the volume has been cut down dramatically is an understatement, just typing this now has made me realise I...

    Air circulators for 10x10 room

Ahhhhh @coreywebster i got myself 4 of those fans, took the backs off to check where wires were and screwed them straight into the timber I hang my lights from, I had thought about getting 6 but 4 was definitely enough, they narf move some air for such a cheap fan, I'll continue to use my metal...

Do you mean like pledge polish? Like furniture polish in the spray can? If so the last lot of nl5xhaze I did had a couple phenos like that, they weren't brilliant but definitely a nice terp profile

    The UK Growers Thread!

That's brilliant that mate, I thought they might've both been sensors for 2 controllers for the same fan, I do something similar but I have an ac infinity fan and controller with the night time temp set and a min speed, then an old massive rvk on an INKBIRD which switches on and off through the...

    Barnsley Jack & Friends...

Wow mate bravo! I love your work, I also absolutely love how you repurposed that tent, I used to do that something similar where I opened my grow room door and stepped straight into a tent, then on the other side of the tent was the grow room. It wasn't anything as nice as the job you've done...

    Baby Shit Strains

Yeah this one was hazey and peppery and almost like the inside of a humidor, that lush sweet woody smell. Fantastic smoke, and like you say complex, I find too much stuff today is devoid of that full bodied complexity. I think that's why I appreciate cigars so much. The candy/cake/bakery terps...

    Baby Shit Strains

My late father in law had a sensi jack cut that was huge all around the north of England in the early 2000s and it was absolutely beautiful to my young lungs when we first transitioned from smoking hash. It really did have a terp profile and high that I reminisce about to this day. But nothing...

    advice on choosing LED device

I've just got 2 800w xplores and so far they're fantastic, I haven't tested them with a meter but plants are growing nicely under them, I'm only at week 3 of flowering with them so I can let you know as time goes on. The xplore lights are their entry level lights and the company is actually one...

    Carbon filter on portable ac

That makes me feel a lot more confident about what I'm planning to do, I'm gonna get a booster can with the same airflow cfm as the ac is rated to and have that boost the airflow between the ac and the filter. My filter is gonna be huge in comparison to both the duct and the cfm of the ac too.

    Carbon filter on portable ac

What was the exhaust hose diameter on the ac mate? Did you use any kind of booster fan to help the air through the filter? Did you notice it restricting the air flow any?

Day 21ish defoliation and final lollipopping on the first round of labomba Day 7ish defoliation and first lollipopping on the second round of labomba I know this aggressive defoliation isn't for everyone and tbh I'm still experimenting with the perfect ammount for this strain, doing slightly...

I'm not topping my plants this time

Some good opinions backed by experience in these couple pages, i just do whatever the situation calls for, if I need to have one plant fill a 5x5 and that plant will sit in a veg room for 2+ months before it goes into the flower room, you can guarantee I'm topping, if that same plant starts in a...

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

If they made a thermoelectric walk in fridge I'd probably stick with it lol. I'm tryna get a buddy to go halves on a harvest right, it seems the results of everyone using a freeze dryer are exactly what everyone in this thread is striving for. Plus it takes up minimal space, and you can dry 100+...

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

@Hook Daddy honestly I'm at that point now it's just becoming the next logical step, harvest right are even more expensive in the uk than stateside, I'm trying portable air con for my drying tent next to see if I can hit a happy medium, there's one major problem with these wine coolers... they...
