    The UK Growers Thread!

Yeah totally get what ur saying here about the 24 hour light (high demand) and the small pots (limited stores). your obeservation makes sense, I would imagine the roots were supplying a need (increased transpiration surface area) once you removed that need, the extra roots become surplus to...

    The UK Growers Thread!

I've had this happen a few times and I allways attributed it to me taking away nutrients from the plant, the older leaves are the least efficient at photosynthesis and eventually just act as water and nutrient stores for the more efficient faster growing new leaves, when the new stuff needs food...

Any other gym rats out there?

Well done dude, have a look at deficit push ups, it's where your hands are raised off the ground slightly (on blocks or bricks or whatever you have) which allows your chest to travel past ur hands in the down position, allowing for a deeper stretch of the muscle, once you've mastered these the...

Any other gym rats out there?

Thankyou mate, 35 push-ups is great, a year ago I could only do 20, do you practise them often?

Any other gym rats out there?

I bench pressed 140kg/308lb last week, that's 3 big plates per side, absolutely over the moon with that achievement.

Here's a little trick I've learned over the years, It's that time of year again when the frost will build up on your roof. There's nothing worse than arriving at ur spot to find yours is the only roof in the street without frost. Never mind the worry of criminals with infra red cameras out...

    Which light to use??

Don't sweat the small stuff, both are capable of doing the job, if you're gonna finish under the nee light and u wanna get it set up then switch now, but i can't see it making much difference yet

My new f*%#ed up,absent minded grow from start

This is a cool idea and would turn out to be very helpful indeed, just look out for weight restrictions for the castors and a way to support the plywood so it doesn't bow, you'd likely have to screw the castors into a frame of sorts and screw the plywood to that frame. Looking fantastic mate...

My new f*%#ed up,absent minded grow from start

You're so welcome mate! Fantastic! he's got so much stuff I've wanted over the years, the flight risk has been the latest, I mainly just grow one or 2 cuts these days but when it comes time to pop some more seeds I'm gonna go for csi, I hear so many people praising him on here and on the...

My new f*%#ed up,absent minded grow from start

Aw mate this all sounds epic, from the organic beds, led choice, seed choice, space vs light ratio, you can see you've put some serious thought into this set up and I hope it pays off big time for you and I'm sure it will! have u ran any of these genetics before? I've had all of those in my...

Weed Porn-Lets see your current grow

Too true my friend, is that hps or ceramic?. The red light of hps passes through leaf matter easier than other wavelengths, coupled with the fact that there's a huge hotspot in the centre of a hps footprint means you can really get some deep penetration right down deep into a canopy. If only...

    Second 13/11 grow.

Years ago I ran an ir halogen heat lamp for the last 30 mins of day and first 30 mins of night in my grow, I had read somewhere about the ir sending the plant straight to sleep as a result of some sort of phytochrome mechanism, I could never keep any genetics alive longer than a single grow...

    Drying in a fridge

Good question, the fact is, while the plant is alive it's constantly losing and rebuilding the terpene profile. Once we chop it this stops and we're stuck with what it has at that point, so the goal is to preserve as much as we can that was present when we cut the plant

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

So does the fridge turn on when the humidity gets to the high point and turn off when it gets to the low point? The wet sponge (although not exactly like plant material) will at least suffice as proof of concept, you may just need to tinker with the controller settings once you have bud in it.

Anyone here run a genuine aeroponic system?

I did too haha, what a great knowledgeable guy he was! I like to think he might cast an eye over the forums from an anonymous profile every now and then, hope he's still getting his grow on hahaha. I moved on to living soil and bigger plants, but my next round will be harvesting every 2 weeks in...

Anyone here run a genuine aeroponic system?

I know this is an aero thread, and stinkbud really did make a fantastic thread full of great info, not to mention the aero setups he used were copied by many growers on here once upon a time, but another good thread if you like the idea of harvesting x ammount every y weeks is harvest every 2...
