I'm in Australia and pay 27c per kWh. Also have a 5kw solar panel system that I get 7c credit for each kWh pumped back into the grid, but I havnt exported any power in a long time :) My power bill is around $1,000 a month running 15ish lights + 5kw split system and small house.

Oh and if the price of the light is an issue... If you grow an extra 12 ounces of bud in 3 months, how far are you ahead? Why did you start this thread?

Sorry mate, just going by the title of your thread, I thought you wanted some assistance / advice on upgrading your light for a better return, but it seems that isn't your intention. I personally don't see the point in only growing 4 ounces when you could be growing alot more out of the same...

Hey mate fellow Aussie here. Stay away from Growlush shit. I picked up a heap of Hi-Par 600w 400v ballasts 2nd hand at good price, but they are pricey new. Also have some Lucius, Nanolux ballasts that go alright. I would even go the Digi-Lumen cheap ballasts over Growlush. Anything but...

I just looked what light you are using, so yeah... Like I was saying, with a 260w Quantum Board or 315w CMH, you will yield 4x the amount of buds, and use less power... Or you can keep pushing shit uphill trying to reinvent the wheel.

4 ounces!?! Nice man. With a 260w Quantum Board, 400w HPS or 315w CMH you should be pulling a pound every 3 months, that's 16 ounces incase you were wondering.

Get a decent quality light and you will yield 10x more buds out of that tent. But if an ounce lasts you 3 months then I guess you are happy what you are doing .. Plant looks healthy enough, but you're only going to get a day or 2's worth of smoke out of it.

Well the only ever GHS seeds ive ever grown were a few beans of 'The Church' and it was complete crap, our aussie bagseed is better. Grown plenty of Mr Nice and all been quality.

You answered your question with your question. The problem withyour plants is they are from GSC. I wouldnt touch anything with their name on it with your dick.

Im an Australian, and so far the only 'medical cannabis' we have here is big pharma. I cant see our scene ever becoming anything like USA unfortunately.
