Comparative Grow: from Dutch Passion at The Vault

Cinderella Jack day 84. I've been really busy at work and home so not posted much recently. Getting close to chop now, ideally I will give her another week as it is much better timing for me to be able to do it, and should still get her dry and jarred before we go away. Can't really leave her...

Seed Making made easy - Selfing a plant

Just want to say a public thank you to @Budzbuddha. I sprayed a plant with cs and kept her in a small 1L pot until she dropped pollen. Collected it (there wasn’t much but she was really small) and brushed it onto a single lower branch each on 2 autos I was growing in my grow cabinet. Harvested...

Free Kannabia Seeds at The Vault

My new bucket list ambition is to reply to a new competition post from @George Seeds before @BobBitchen does. He is like a reply ninja!!

Probably a stupid Question? but i wont find out till i ask

A picture of any info actually printed or stuck on the light, a web link to the light or even the name and model of the light would normally be enough for somebody on here to tell you the actual draw of it. As you can probably tell already, most people on the forum are happy to help out if...

Probably a stupid Question? but i wont find out till i ask

As @PadawanWarrior mentioned a couple of posts above this one, they should tell you the actual output either on the light or on the website. The “1000w” claimed versions usually have say 200 diodes capable of 5w max each, (200 x5 =1000) but the makers set the light up to only actually run at 1w...

Probably a stupid Question? but i wont find out till i ask

Just be aware that some ‘600 or 1000w’ leds are not actually pulling anywhere near that. You need to check what they are actually pulling from the wall. I would hate you to swap a 600 hps for say 2 lights that are only actually pulling 300w or so in total between them, as that would be a...

Cinderella Jack Auto day 70 Buds getting bulkier. Came down one morning last week and the top bud had grown into the quantum board. It was actually touching a diode. I have pulled it down with a bit of LST wire I use, so it won't happen again. You can just see the burnt tip on the front right...

Comparative Grow: from Dutch Passion at The Vault

Myself and a few others growing the Cinderella Jack have all had very slow starters, it seems to be a trait. She will take off in a couple of days, don’t give up on her!

Comparative Grow: from Dutch Passion at The Vault

Pics of the Cinderella Jack auto taken a couple of days ago on day 60. Pulled her out of the cabinet in order to take the 'above' shot. Buds are starting to develop nicely, and you can really see the trichomes on the close up pic where the flash didn't go off.

Ah, I get you. If they are nowhere near being able to reach the net then personally I would take them off, and let the plant put all her energy into stretching the growth already at the net, rather than using it to grow stuff that will be chopped later as it doesn't reach the canopy.

It’s been a few years since i last did a scrog, but I would keep on tucking them back under, it looks like you still have some space in your netting. Try and fill the entire area with growth.

Germinating in soil - And a transplant.

General rule of thumb I use for transplanting autos is when the leaves go past the edge of the 1L pot. Roots will normally be established enough to help hold the soil together but not be pot bound. It is usually around the 2 - 3 week mark, so pretty much around the time Mephisto recommend. And...

Hi guys bit of help please should I trim off some of these big leafs to let more light through

I was replying to the post saying lst was a big no no at all, but you make a valid point in that it wouldn’t be advisable for the original poster. I hadn’t thought about my reply in that context. Good call.

Hi guys bit of help please should I trim off some of these big leafs to let more light through

I broke one of my branches on my auto, wrapped it with tape and it’s fine. Try it first and if it fails to mend chop it off. Low stress training is fine, it is low stress lol. You are right to be wary about fimming etc though, that is more stressful, but some people do it and get good results...

Happy Valentines Day BUDdy - An Awesome Vault promo!

No special plans or presents. My wife says that she prefers the fact i buy her flowers year round, to buying her some from the petrol station on valentines in the hope i might get lucky! And we bought our house on valentines years ago, so I don’t think i can better that unless i win the lottery...

grow closet design i need help discussing with experts.

I must have read the opening post 3 or 4 times, and totally missed that bit about your drying area at the end of the sentence every time! It's like one of those tricks where your mind doesn't see the same word repeated twice in a sentence. You seem to have it all sussed out, damn good job with...

grow closet design i need help discussing with experts.

I’ve looked at the same Ikea wardrobe so I’m really interested in this project. One thing I may have missed, or you may not have thought about, but where are you planning on drying your perpetual harvests? One thought of mine, if you haven’t got somewhere else, is to use the currently dead space...

Comparative Grow: from Dutch Passion at The Vault

Pics taken on day 49 for the Cinderella Jack auto. She has stopped stretching now and is starting to flower. Good job I got rid of the old household led bulbs as they would probably have been very close to touching her now. The quantum board has paid for itself already! I will probably have a...
