New growth nodes shriveling and dying???

nah I didn’t damage them, I actually cut those leaves off after I noticed so I could get a better picture. I did top these plants about a week or so ago. Another thing these have in common is that I supercropped these two plants and the stem was hollow on these two plants and it kind of split...

First time with photoperiods. Any advice with training?

So, a couple of questions... I topped the top branch to create 4, then I also topped the 2 sets of branches below that once, is that alright? (I topped my plant first above 4th node) Also I noticed that the 2 sets of branches at the bottom of the plant are growing nodes that will most likely not...

    Hydroponics and tap water?

so I ended up using tap for about a week. Worked totally fine lol. Sucks that I spent 300$ on an RO system when I didn’t need it. I guess I’ll use it anyways and use tap for emergencies or when I’m lazy lol. Honestly tho idk why but the tap water was much more stable in terms of PH. Like so...

RDWC Hydro with tap water (bennies/h2o2)

So, I ran out of RO (system broke). Did a res change and had to use tap (190ppm). Without thinking, I added hydro guard to the mix as I usually do. Then I read that the contaminants in tap water kill bennies, so I thought about adding H2O2 to the res. But if tap water kills microbes, wouldn’t...

I did when I did the res change

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

yeah I know. And yes, a bit low.

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

yes the three fingered leaf. The second true leaf to grow (not counting cotyledons of course) however it is spreading (slowly) to the leaf set above it)

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

yeah, I would like to try one additive tho just for shits and giggles. Got any recommendations for one that works well in hydro?

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

Also, this seems to be getting spreading. I did a res change today and hopefully that helps. But this morning when I checked the little shiny/white-ish gray spots have started to turn that brown rusty necrotic color; it is slowly working its way inward on the leaf. Any ideas @rkymtnman ?

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

damn, everybody’s got my back today. RK, you’ve given me great advice plenty of times on this site. If you have a simple formula for veg and bloom, I’m all ears!!! also, I’m sure everybody here has the best intentions. I can tell everyone is trying to help. It’s all good everyone.

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

This is the first I’ve heard that CalMag is essentially useless in hydro. I’ll have to look it up. Considering hydroponics is inert(until you add the nutes) and considering plants need calcium and magnesium, it would stand to reason that they would have to get that ca/mg from somewhere. And if...

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

yeah you might be right. Doing a res change today. Hopefully that helps.

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

also, I’ve been wondering, do you guys mix your nutesto where the EC is higher than needed and then dilute to the EC you need? Or do you reduce the added nutes (while still keeping the same ratio) to acquire the proper EC? For example: if a chart says mix X of this and X of that per gallon, and...

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

plants are about 3 weeks old. I just topped at the 5th node a couple days ago. What strength should I be feeding them in ppms? I’m very new to hydro.

    CalMag deficiency? RDWC

Nah man I think you should re-read my post. It said “feed strength: 550 EC.” Then someone asked, “i assume you mean 550ppm” And I said “no I meant to say 550EC/275ppm.” I just forgot to put the decimal as “.550 EC” I am fully aware of what the EC to ppm conversions are.
