In my belief once you plant a seed, it is what it is. If all conditions are the same, than genetics are the main reason something is good, it will be good if they have everything they need. There are tricks at the end that may increase potency some, like 2-3 days of darkness before chopping...

Just let them moderate under the same lighting, than after that make sure they are almost dry before watering in the future.

Yeah I rarely had any heat issues with my 250 HPS, in summer I had heat, but I would have with no lamp too. Is it HPS?

250 watt is the minimum size I would use for a HID lamp.

Younger plants are less likely to show certain deficiencies. Spots on leaves can be many things.

How old are these plants? If they are clones, how old is the parent? I've luckily never had mites, but you can usually see them congregate on the undersides of the leaves. I don't think it's a mite issue. But I could be wrong, but I really haven't had to deal with it.

Maybe a bit small for 10 days, if you are feeding them this young back off and use water for a bit.
