Little update on my mother and the only clone to make it. There is s still a TON of leaves in through the colas, but each one is super thick with bud just below the surface. The problem I'm having is with the clone. Extremely stunted growth (maybe seven inches tall?), and only 3 bladed leaves...

Couldn't sleep so I took a few more pictures (it really sucks to be so hush hush about the grow, but safety first). Definitely noticed that my tie job on a few of the clones needs some work, a lot of them are falling over due to bud weight. Not the worst problem to have, but I'm dreading bud...

Fair enough with the trolls and jerks (they always exist in any population), but as of yet I've yet to meet any of them .. All the better if I never do! Where I am, it's 300/oz and 3000/lb ... It's all black market since my state isn't with the times yet. I'm hoping to eventually have enough...

Glad we're mostly on the same page cat. I'm definitely not throwing out the work of you and the countless others who have been doing this for years. All of us new people are standing on the backs of the giants who came before us :)

Usually the plant will start focusing on the buds and neglecting the lower leaves from what I've seen and read (this is the end if it's life cycle and it's biological clock is ticking. It really wants to pass on its genes so it puts more effort to make those flowers as appealing as possible)...

Now now, that wasn't a personal jab at you friend - or anyone else on the site. Until we have exact scientific testing done, a lot is personal experience. As I said before though - to each their own! My methods may not work for you and vice versa, but in the end as long as we get a nice harvest...

I've also read an article where it was found that clear had the most thc lol. It's a crap shoot since a lot of the science behind the plants is still in its infancy and most knowledge is personal (ie, on my grow, xyz).

I've heard of people going straight darkness the last two or three days before harvest, but personally I've always kept them at 12/12 - but to each his own! As long as you get a good healthy harvest and good smoke, the process doesn't always matter!

That ... is a very dividing question. Some people believe that the clear/cloudy trichomes are the best ... others swear that its better to be mostly cloudy with some ambers ... About the hairs ... I'm not sure lol. Its been many years since I last grew, and I've forgotten so much. Hopefully...
