You can go to the website of most any nutrient company and request samples. I've tried GH Floraduo, XNutrients Xgrow and Xbloom, and botanicare progrow and probloom. I was able to get samples of all of them. I liked the GH and am currently using botanicare.

I had mites once. Used dr doom and azamax. Since then, I add azamax every 15 days to their water. Protects plant from inside out and I don't have to worry about whether I missed a leaf when I sprayed.
