    BT and Pyrethrin which first?

Mix in some DE as well, it doesn't kill the infestation, but it will slow it down.

Question about Mother Earth Liquicraft Grow nutrients

It is completely normal, and you should be just fine. Liquid nutes are always acidic. Any good container mix will have enough dolomite to buffer a 5.6 feed without issue.

High End - State of the Art way to grow!?

If he wants to flex on the poors growing in muddy cowshit.....I would suggest high pressure aeroponics. You need all sorts of fancy stuff like atomizers, solenoids, check valves, logic boards, micron filters, expensive pumps, manifolds and a lot of patience when all that stuff starts to malfunction.

    Happened overnight- Help!

I grow outdoors in peat mix, but I use a HP mix or I add enough perlite to the mix to make it almost impossible to overwater. Then when a heatwave hits, I cut the EC to about half and water 2-3 times a day. I run the garden veggies and herbage off a 1000L IBC with a timer and irrigation lines.

Feeding guide for jacks ? Or what to eliminate from canna coco to eliminate odors

I tried Jack's this year without the epsom as well. 3.5 grams jacks-2 grams calnit and it works great on the garden veggies and the herb selection. I go for a sterile rez 2mg/L cal-hypo. I mix up a liter with 10 grams so it's easy to measure with a syringe.

The fishing thread ( not about fish fertilizer)

Having fun on Clingstone was a success. My luck otherwise was horrible, I got cleaned out on the poker table, the rocks claimed numerous gear rigs and all I caught were a few bait size porgies.

    Nutrient Problem

My outdoor plants always drop some of the old large bottom fan leaves during transition time. If the top half of the plant looks fine I wouldn't worry about it.

Used UC Roots hydroponic mineral de scaler for years. I need a replacement or a way to make something myself

The HOCL electrolysis is done separate and then added to the rez. At 2mg/L I'll stick with my Cal-Hypo

Used UC Roots hydroponic mineral de scaler for years. I need a replacement or a way to make something myself

If I didn't buy 25# a year of cal-hypo for my pool, I would just make a cheap electrolysis machine using an old 12V PSU and a couple carbon graphite rods. I would also use potassium or calcium chloride instead of sodium since it's going into a nutrient solution.

The fishing thread ( not about fish fertilizer)

A group of friends and I rented Clingstone for the week. Hopefully I can pull a few nice stripers from Narraganset, but I'll take a few tautog or porgy as well. Gonna gear up and head down there in a bit. If the weather and fishing suck's we'll probably just roll it up and play Hold'em for the...

    Whats your opinion of coco

You might want to look into Promix a bit more then. Depending on the perlite, vermiculite and peat ratios of the type of Promix used, container volume and plant size, you can water anywhere from twice a day to every 5 days.

    Whats your opinion of coco

I'm personally not a fan of coco, I think it's more hassle than a HP buffered peat growers mix.

What do these pic tell an experienced eye?

You always want to feed and flush in soilless. That plant is looking pretty good now. I would stick with the .8EC next time you get dryback.

    doublejj's 2024 adventure

Jeez...I never thought about drones Not surprised......the days of serve and protect are long gone. If only they spent that much time and money on crimes that have actual victims. Harass and collect is the main job of modern law enforcement.

    doublejj's 2024 adventure

I was out in California visiting friends back in the dark times after a work injury laid me off. They ran the usual 1/4-acre guerilla grows in a few secluded locations. The main thing that terrified them were Mexican Pirates. They told me stories of friends that went out to their crops to be...

    Leaf issues.

Looks like an average outdoor plant to me. It might be in a bit too much shade, it's a bit leggy.

    How much recovery time?

I let my outdoor plants get bone dry in mid-summer before. The tender new growth never recovered fully and grew all mangled looking. It was about 7-10 days before new healthy growth started popping out.

    Is this caterpillar damage?

Definitely leafhoppers, they get my plants every year. Nothing a strong plant won't grow through.

    How much recovery time?

I would trust it when the new growth develops normally. If it's twisted and mangled looking let the plant recover longer.
