I plant the seeds directly in the coco in solo cups.......no paper towels or soaking. I use a 50/50 coco/perlite mix and I start feeding to run off daily starting around day 3 or 4 from sprout. I transplant to a 2 gallon pot after 2 weeks........and that's where they stay.
This should tell you something........copied from the product description.
NOT SUITABLE FOR
Don't use in hydroponic growing systems, ponds or pots submerged in water
Do not use on lawns - use only specifically named lawn topdress soils on grassed areas
Not recommended for natives or other...
Coco basics.
Start in solo cups.
Feed daily to substantial run off.
Never plain water.
Never, ever let the coco dry.
Daily feeding replenishes the nutes, pulls in fresh oxygen to the roots, and prevents salt build up.
I only have to check my nute solution a few times during the entire grow.......only when I up the strength. I haven't checked the pH of my current grow in a couple months.
I always start in solo cups and transplant to 2 gallon pots after 2 weeks. I grow in coco, so if you're growing in soil, you would probably need a larger pot.
