    Need help on this

I know lots about growing with teas, but as stated by other growers, we need to have a little more detail about your grow and experience to be able to advise you properly. Don't get you back up so easy, most people here want to help, but you need to give us the tools to answer your question...

    condo organics?

Unless you get a really fancy r/o filter you will want to set up reservoir system to store your water anyway. It takes many hours for the filter to make the amount of water you will need. I have a 30 gallon reservoir that I use, and I am usually only using 10-15 gallons when I water, so it all...

    condo organics?

Looks good. I have heard people talk about getting cal/mag deficiencies using r/o water, but it has never happened to me. I have never sought a chemical analysis of super soil, but I feel like some of those amendments you use must contain cal and mag. I have been using r/o water exclusively for...

    Re vegging question about lighting

I am not sure what you are asking, and I have reveged plants several times. It will take it a while to resume vigorous vegetative growth, once it gets to the size you want put it back into flowering.

    Dyna gro is garbage!

Haha, I didn't even notice it was a hydro thread my mistake, just saw someone griping about nutes and seemed like a good time to get on my organic soapbox. I will save it for a non-hydro thread in the future. Happy grows, whatever your medium. One parting note, plants do not grow bigger and...

    Dyna gro is garbage!

The first 5 are my last grow of GDP, I think the first two are taken about week 6 or so, the picture of the canopy was maybe a week later, and that lovely little gold nugget is just a small piece of the 40 grams of high quality wax that was produced from the trim. I think the trichome pic was...

    condo organics?

Heat will help the soil develop faster, but it will do fine inside. Once you have everything mixed, keep it just a little moist and stir often. You are waiting for a high level of microbes to develop so that the soil will be really alive. O goodness yes use airpots, they are the best thing on...

    Dyna gro is garbage!

I spend about $50 a grow on nutes for 12-16 plants. All I use is: several kinds of guano, liquid kelp, liquid humic, worm castings, and a blend of several organic compounds like bonemeal, feathermeal, green sand, and a few others. I Make teas with molasses and some blend of the previously...

    Lumens per sq ft

Dont worry about yield yet. Just take good care of them, LST, and make sure not to over feed them and you should produce some really nice buds. I run 6180 lumens per sf in my tent, 3000 is considered good, so over 13000 should do well, as previously stated, as long as temps dont become an issue.

How much did you spend on your grow room?

Thanks for sharing your story, it is very inspiring to me. I live in MI, I grew a little when I was younger, and when medical went legal I decided to get back into it. I would love to try to build a network of cooperative growers here in my area like you described. I feel like I have started to...

    Carbon Filter outside of tent??

I guess you can mount the filter outside the grow tent, It just seems more effective to me to mount it inside the tent. Does not really take up space because, if mounted correctly is it well above the canopy, near the ceiling of your tent or room. I guess the other reason I put the filter inside...

    Carbon Filter outside of tent??

If it is outside the tent it is not filtering. Every carbon filter I have ever used is designed to be mounted inside the grow space, at the end of the line. Meaning, you have the fan pulling air out of the tent with the filter inside the tent on the other end. Make sense?

What is wrong with this plant?

Get r/o water if ya can, most supermarkets have machines that sell it. You can also pick up a home r/o filter for under $200, it is a worth wile investment that will last a long time.

Supper-cropped stem never made it back.

Sounds like you just went a little to far. You have to think about the size and age of a plant, and what the roots and leaves can support. Super cropping is stressful to a plant, and at 2 weeks they don't have a lot of means to cope. I think ya just pinched her a little to hard, should recover ok.

I need a high quality grow tent

Virtual Sun Hydroponics has the best price/quality balance of the several brands I have tried, check them out. I currently have a 4x4 tent and a 6.5x6.5 tent from them that I have been using for quite a while, both have been great.

    Severe stretching in late bloom

Do you have some ambient lighting that might be staying on? Or was there a timer snafu for a few days? It almost looks like the plant has resumed vegetative growth.

Supper-cropped stem never made it back.

How did you do your "super cropping"? There is lots of bad information out there about this particular technique. Pics also help a lot.
