How much will these plants yield?

I see what you mean about the difference in the 2 sets of pics. If you think they are wrong try posting pics in a better light. I'll just have to say on my first grow I did the same as you are and did it all through the grow right to the end, and I burned them by miss reading the early signs. I...

That's the main thing is the heat. Keep the light as close as possible without getting it to hot on the tops. I use one of those indoor/outdoor thermometers that have the sensor on a wire you put outside. I put it on the top of the tallest plant and the inside unit at the base of the pot. That...

Ya, I like photography myself. Especially close up's of buds. I have an older Minolta Z-6 and it does pretty good. I would like to upgrade to an SLR when I can but always seem to spend my money on my hobby. You should post the spreadsheet pics in an album so we could see them. Being a carpenter...

I agree on that. I like it to look good and be safe as well. I do home remodeling so I get all kinds of material from jobs too. No time now but later tonight I'll post a link where I posted my set up. Easier that way than to post it all again. And maybe some bud porn??

Mercury vapor is no good for growing. People have had a lot of success making custom set ups. Keep an eye out everywhere you go, people throw away lots of stuff you can use. I got a nice metal cabinet that way. You have tools to work with? You need more than a bulb and socket and those are easy...

Pretty snazzy diagram you have there. Nice attention to detail. I hear you about the tubes, we do what we can. And then upgrade. My garden has changed quite a bit in a little over a year. Looks good but how about some real pics though. What are you thinking of for HID lighting? Consider using 2...

Pics would be great. I like CFL's better than the tubes. I believe you can get much better light and results. I veg with CFL's and just upgraded from 1 600w to 2 600w for flower. This last run I got an MH for the 600w to veg with it for a couple weeks before 12/12. Good luck and let's see some...

    Grow box overheating. help.

If you put a piece of glass (cut the size of the inside of the speaker) like a shelf and vent the upper part separate from the bottom, like an air cooled reflector you might be able to keep the heat away from the plants.

Try Walmart for 2" wide black electrical tape. I got some there and used it to light proof different containers. At 98 cents it's cheap also. I also like foil tape but it cost more and is harder to use. Just something you might want to check out.

Something like this should be a good fan. It doesn't say what the cfm is and I goggled it and still could not find a cfm rating. But with 3400 rpm it should be pretty good. It is also 0.80amp and my 130cfm's are 1 amp...

Space seems to be a never ending problem. It does sound like you have quite a good selection to pick from. There are so many strains out there now, it seems like the choices have doubled in the last few years.

Also on the adapter a lot of ones around for games and stuff might be big enough. You use the red and black wire on the fan. Red being positive. I think the striped wire on most adapters is the positive. The wiring will only work one way, so if you hook it up and it doesn't work just switch the...

Just do like your doing until they come through the soil. You can cover them with something to keep the soil damp on the top, like some plastic food wrap. Keep it off the soil though, maybe with a toothpick or something like that. Once they come through the soil give them a full cup and try to...

I would try to get at least a 100cfm fan. and get the 120mm ones. Can you get one on Ebay or internet. Unless you have a computer store near you? Or maybe Radio Shack? The higher the cfm the louder it will be. I've seen them as high as 200cfm. Look for the dba rating the higher it is the louder...

Looks good man, How far the light is depends on how hot it is. I would keep it about 18-24 at least, just enough to keep the top of the soil a little warm but not dry it out to much. Gotta leave for work but will get back after I get home. Keep a spray bottle maybe to keep the surface damp.

Hey green, I'm going to suggest not using those bags and use pots instead. I don't think they would be good for the root system. I think the dirt would get to compacted and wouldn't be as airy as it would be in pots. With dirt you want it to drain well and I think the bags would hurt this since...

I'm up to 15 plants in the flower area at a time and still call it a hobby. As far as nutes, whatever works best for you. There's a lot of good stuff out there to use nowadays it's just crazy. I just started with AN stuff and didn't change. Except for using General Hydro for a while. And that...
