Wow they look green and good! :-)
I will post pics of my plants later today. I'm planning on transplanting them to bigger pots just before I introduce the 250W HPS lights.
The seedlings are now on Day 7 and they look nice and healthy. :-)
That's great Pothead! Order the Satoris! :-)
I will have the 250W ballast kit wired and assembled by my electrician friends tomorrow. I can't wait!
I like to assemble my own ballast because it is way cheaper than purchasing the pre-assembled ones.
It's actually just a precautionary measure because there's always a risk of infection/contamination and it's a risk I don't like to take. I usually separate just the right amount I can consume so nothing gets wasted.
Anyhow, it's good to know your method works for you. Different strokes for...
Do not dip the cutting directly in the jar of clonex if you plan on using it again. You will contaminate the entire jar. You should have placed the it in a separate container like a shot glass or a small dish.
Because the plants transpire from the leaves, you cut them shorter so they do not lose so much moisture.
Because of the absence of roots during the first few days, the cuttings will get their water through the leafs and humid environment. :weed:
The reason why some seeds are more expensive than others is because of the time and effort invested in breeding a really good strain.
Breeding is a very long and arduous process which may take years to get the perfect plant you want and the supply of seeds in a budding plant means nothing if...
Wow Joe, I hope everything is fine in your home.
Anyway, it's good to know you're enjoying your bigbang! I, on the other hand, am relieved that I got rid of them hihihi :peace:
Nah I don't really mind if it's small. I think it's meant to be small. Just as long as the other twin looks fine, I'm happy about it :-)
I also fancy myself not being the "feed-happy" kind of grower. We will see how that will turn out during this grow :-)
You know what they say: The older the plant gets, the less water you give it.
Especially when its near harvest.
Oh and stop giving nutes 2-3 weeks before harvest.
Yeah I was also worried about that. I'll just let them grow for now, see what happens.
Quick update:
The seedlings are now 5 days old and their leaves are getting bigger and they are now on their way to the second leaf set. :-)
