    How to maximise yield

Looking good. I don't know if I would do my plan of weaving her through the net to support her. For me, when I harvest, I just cut the netting. My new opinion is to flip her into flower right now. Try to spread her out a bit more if you can. I recommend a long flush with coco, 2-3 weeks to...

    How to maximise yield

Because if you up potted her to a 10 gallon, and let her fill out the net, she is going to be huge and have a big stretch. 2 nets would also support her better. How do you have the net set up, is she going to fill the whole thing?

    First grow, need opinions

Looking good, since you're organic a bigger pot will = a bigger yield if you can fit it, grow in larger pots. Don't add any synthetics and you can reuse the soil.

    Gypsum in coco

You could try amending with sulfur as well to lower the ph. I have no experience with it, but I saw a Clackamas Coot interview where he recommended coco growers amend with gypsum. You could experiment with difference ratios with gypsum and sulfur to get the right coco ph.

    Do you soak your seeds?

I soak them until they sink if i touch them, usually takes a few hours. When I soak them I always see them pop through the soil on the 2nd day. When I don't soak them, the time varies. I don't pop that many seeds, that's just been my experience.

    How to maximise yield

You will get the best yield in a 4x4 from scrogging. Is that your only plant in there? If so, me personally would up pot her to a 10 gallon, add a trellis net about a foot over her head, grow/weave her into it, when the net is full, i'd flip her into flower and add another trellis net a foot...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

With your hot attic environment, plants might grow better in coco or a soil/coco mix. Coco would let you water everyday which could keep your roots cool in the summer, or the soil could better protect them. You might be better off with coco during the summer and soil during the winter. I...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

That's how I did it, helped me make a ton of mistakes. Growing in coco is a pain, but glad i did it, learned a lot. Now I'm back to organic, I love the simplicity of water only, occasional tea/top feed. I do foliar feed synthetics to my clones, which I would never have done if I didn't grow...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

Nice selection, I'm curious to how the hulkberry turns out, I was considering their photo version. I've also grown their Med Mass, like the SSH it germinated very fast, good vigor, good structure, was easy to grow. I want to try their Runtz, other hazes, and their sour diesel. Not sure when...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

I grew out and smoked some Shining Silver Haze from RQS that I really liked, that would be very suitable to a hot and humid environment. The bud was very air and I think she finished just shy of 10 weeks. I see that you've been using RQS, every seed that I've popped from them has been very...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

With that knowledge, you might want to flip to flower asap, to get best case scenario flowering temps on current crop, and then do a long veg on your clones, and start flowering when temps start to drop so that they get the best flowering temps. I couldn't get my apartment very warm this past...

changing to 12/12h after 49 days of 20/4 ? (yield?) ::: RQS Hulkberry Auto

I'm going to be doing something similar to you. I'm a couple weeks farther from harvest, and light cycle change. I'm expecting yield to be slightly noticeably smaller. Worse case, I'm expecting 20-25% smaller. But I'm going to have lower temps and humidity, so I'm expecting denser more...

COM Stonington blend soil and Nutes

I have a girl in in a COM stonington blend ammmended with additional worm castings, basalt dust, kelp meal and pumice for aeration. I topped dress before flower with kelp meal, dr. earth flower girl, and worm castings. I water frequently with recharge and unsulfured blackstrap molasses and...

Need recomendation for soil mix indoors.

No I haven't, but I've heard of people having a lot of success with that. I'm new to growing organically, I recently switched from coco. But you can inoculate your soil in many ways and that seems like a really good way.

Need recomendation for soil mix indoors.

You will probably need a little something in a pot that small. If you go organic and don't use the bottled nutes, you can reuse the soil. You could possibly get away with just top feeding addition FFOF. I really like Dr. Earth Flower girl and worm castings as a top dress, and that could be...

Need recomendation for soil mix indoors.

By buffered coco I mean, you have to soak the coco in a double dose of cal mag for 8 hours before using. Has something to do with the cat ion exchange which I know nothing about. It will take the calcium from your bottled nutrients instead of the plant getting it.

Need recomendation for soil mix indoors.

After posting that I realized I never answered the question. If you're using a bottled nutrient line, you could cut that with as much buffered coco/perlite as you wanted to bring the cost down to 200 and would likely get similar results.

Need recomendation for soil mix indoors.

The cheaper thing for you would be to just use straight ffof and mix in perlite. Worm castings and good compost will be more expensive than FFOF. It's only like 20 bucks for 1.5 cf at my local garden stores. Using a better microbial living ogranic soil like Coast of Maine stonington blend...
