Whats going on with my females

I would not put vinegar in your soil, other than using a little as ph down or whatever. The white mold you describe is not necessarily a bad thing when you’re working with living soil. I’d repot them also, as someone else suggested. They will use up any nutes in the soil very quickly. Good luck.

Happy Friday! I’ve been wondering about the shelf life of BTi. I have some that’s a little over a year old now, though I question whether it’s working. I’m at the end of a grow so less worried about the gnats, but they’ve been keeping busy for sure, despite fairly recent treatments.

New Grower - Is this normal?

Ok, thanks. Not to be too negative, brother, sorry if that’s the case…but these are seedling lights, for starting plants rather than flowering them. I don’t think they’ll generate enough light for effective flowering. Also helps explain the stretch in your plants. Can you move them outside for...

New Grower - Is this normal?

Are those fluorescent lights? Is so, they can be very close to the plant as theyre not very hot (or powerful, though you can grow with them). What are the lights?

New Grower - Is this normal?

I have been using Dr. Earth dry amendments recently. Inexpensive and easy to find. Dr. Earth Homegrown and then Flower Girl. If you repot, new soil will likely have some nutes built on also.

New Grower - Is this normal?

They need to be repotted very soon (and should have done already, ideally). They’re a bit stretchy (light too far away, perhaps) and also have outgrown their pots, and so might be having trouble getting the nutes they need from your medium. Just some thoughts. They will use up the nutes in the...

Haven’t seen a drop over here. I’ve got a bunch of friends in Montpellier and Ludlow, places like that got hit hard last year. Hoping for the best for folk up there.

Searching for tips, tricks and advice on my first outdoor plant.

Careful not to overwater. Looks a little droopy by doing fine. what happened to the other seedlings? Any chance to get some more going?

My son returned from some travels yesterday, most recently in the Philippines - brought me this coffee. I love coffee but have a hard “ick” factor to bodily fluids. Should be interesting to try, anyway. Happy Tuesday, folks.

    Ready to cut?

You shouldn’t spray neem on buds as they absorb the stuff and can affect taste. Haven’t actually done this myself, but it’s well known advice. Absolutely stop spraying with neem. Stop using that stuff is my advice. I never do. There are other treatments if you get bugs.

    Ready to cut?

Do you mean neem oil? You should not be using it at this stage. Don’t get it on the flowers. Weeks to go. I wouldn’t zoom in until all or most pistils have turned red/brown. Lots of white ones showing still. Did you apply neem to the flowers?

    davinci piney odor from harvest

I’m not familiar with the strain, but you should enjoy the variety of flavors you can explore as a grower. It’s one of the things most of us look forward to as growers. Sounds like you did well for your second grow, as good terp profiles come from a healthy plant that is properly dried. The...

    davinci piney odor from harvest

Sure, normal depending on your strain. Some have a very distinct pine smell.

Should I defol? Also lst help

I’d mainly focus on spreading the branches with ties of some sort to the edges of the pot to allow more room for growth and light into the denser areas. You might thin it just a little. Pot looks small. What size is that? I’d also trim any lower branching growth that’s getting lost in the dense...

Young plant, all new growth faded looking?

If I experience a plant like this again I will give it a try. Really, just kept this one alive as an experiment, as she seemed challenged from birth but seems she’s going to wind up ok.

Young plant, all new growth faded looking?

Here’s a quick update on this plant. New growth continued to be faded looking, as were the very first leaves. I really attribute that to weird auto genetics, but maybe I’m wrong. She’s gotten new layers of dry amendments (Dr. Earth Home Grown and then Dr Earth Flower Girl) every two weeks. But...
