Hopefully so, im in australia so we don't have many options when it comes to soil or peat based mediums unless you make your own mixes, which equals bugs and pests. Loving the coco a bit more work cause i hand water but much better growth, health and yeild.

I went with the canna line of nutes canna vega for veg and canna flores for flower. My tap water is real soft like 0.1 ec so a bit of calmag in the mix also. I used canna coco a and b for the coco grow.

Ive been using canna terra pro for a couple of years but have made the switch to coco/perlite. You could add a little extra perlite it couldnt hurt no need for nutrients for the first 2 to 3 weeks and yes it is a peat based medium. Autopotomus grows are amazing the guy knows his shit, this strawberry cheese auto grown in 70/30 coco/perlite yeilded 12 oz thats a personal best for me. Autos grow very well in coco. I grow autos in both peat based mediums and 70/30 coco perlit and coco wins every time.

No need to flush just lower your ec gradualy as you near harvest time. I wouldnt worry about those tips mine get way more affected than yours. Its pretty hard to avoid nute burn in my experience. I am no expert with coco but no need for run off at the start when they are still small good thing about coco/ perlite its pretty easy to correct issues early when things go wrong. I focus on runoff when the plants roots start filling out the pot and boom rapid growth... usualy

Yeah im in australia wish i had access to jacks, cali magic is good because it has less nitrogen in its mix. My understanding of jacks is mg sulphate is required.
