I really didn't see how volume could buffer ph swings either but I had to ask.

I have to admit that ph stability is very appealing, especially at lower ec levels in early veg. Do you find your ph is more stable even at lower nute concentrations?

I'm having trouble seeing the advantages of RDWC over DWC, for me personally, in a 2x4 tent with just 1 or 2 buckets or totes. It just seems like extra components and nutes to deal with for 1 or 2 plants. When I have 2 plants going full throttle, I do complete nute changes every 6 to 7 days...

I just got a complete and identical Apera pH/EC meter to have for a back up. I replaced the probe on my original as it was close to 2 years old 3 months ago. Yup, that's what I use.

I use the Botanicare products. During bloom just Silica, Cal-Mag, Bloom and Flying Skull Z7 enzymes. The only thing I do different towards the end is to reduce the EC as the plants start drinking and eating less. I never flush and feed right up to harvest.

How far out was your PH? I think they'll come back.

I've never really seen a dramatic change of trichs from cloudy to amber in my autos. I chop when there are very few white pistols and they've receded and swelling seems to have stopped.

I can't speak on RDWC as I do DWC with two Hydrobuckets. I can say with autos, two plants totally max out my 2x4 tent. Typically I get 12 to 16 oz dry weight.

I've noticed that when I get those anxious feelings it's usually from a high thc sativa dominate strain. I prefer sativas but I always have some indica around and a couple hits of that stops the anxiety.
