your setup sounds pretty good and the only way to actually get rid of your smell and not just blow t around (squirrel cage) is if you have a carbon filter there are some threads on here on how to make your ownfor like 7 $ search it or you could buy one thats really expensive but no fummes...

ya man but these soils wont be as good as some at a garden store specialized for this there is some great soils just look for them you want somehting in it with perlite,and peat moss ook at the x-x-x number according to your plant size and just pick one out i know a couple of people who have...
