    black dog led lights

IMO I BELIEVE the only side by side (LED vs HPS) was one blackdog did. The video stated same strain, pheno, feeding everything. The only differance was one was under a 1000w hps, and the other was under like a 884w LED(or something close to that). The LED did grow a more robust plant! Edit...

    400w Hps SoG

I mean, it depends on you. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the light footprint of a 400w is like 3'x3' or 4'x4', I forget. But either way, the amount of plants you can fit under your lights footprint depends on pot size, veg length, if your running 12/12 from seed, strain, if your...

    Dying plants, please help.

Cal/mag would have been my suggestion if his leaves weren't as burnt as they were. Cal/mag problems usually present in reddish purple stems &or red/Brown spots on leaves, but for the whole plant to actually burn like that it was deff over feeding. SixMoreDucks, were you able to chop/save your...

    4 weeks Veg

Realistically you should throw a huge screen in there, and scrog your 4 plants across your whole grow space. This way you can use all the light in your grow space efficiently, AND you'll most likely end up with a higher yield of better quality because you'll have all main colas to harvest...

Winter air vented directly through cool tube hood

My only thing would be, what about the nights it gets cold or snows (depending on where you live? Your lights Run so hot that it could crack them to have air that cold passed over them. And if your drawing air in from outside it'd have to be filtered before entering your grow room (maybe a...

HPS and MH lights for growing?

1000 watts is a lot for two plants brother. I mean if you can do it that's great, but your running a LOT of electric between your lights and fans, you'll have a lot of heat in your room (assuming your room is small because a huge room would do your light no justice, as there would be a lot of...

    Dying plants, please help.

I wouldn't chop For at LEAST another week, but I personally would wait two. One week for the shock, and one week because you said it had about another week till you were gunna harvest anyways. And as for how to stop nute lock, I personally never flush. But every time I water, I give it a nice...

    Dying plants, please help.

True, the plants don't use as much water during flower, AND the added water could raise rH in the room causing mold problems if left unchecked. SixMoreDucks you need to just use your best judgement on when to do your flushing honestly and just pay extra close attention to your plants for the...

    Strains

I really enjoy everything I've run from dinafem (blue cheese, critical plus, cheese, cheese auto, and a few other I can't think of) and I really like G13 labs. If you check out The Attitude, they have a list of top strains and cup winners!

East coast, are you running your SOG from clone or seed??

    Dying plants, please help.

Also valid, but usually I get yellowing of the leaves from the bottom of the plant up towards the end of flower, never red spots on my leaves that fry the leaves from the inside out. That's why I'm thinkin nute lock, but it's perfect timing to flush before flower anyways. But I'd let the girls...

    Dying plants, please help.

Yea you need a nice long flush. It doesn't matter if the soil is already wet, because if you don't flush soon your plants could just up and die. I'd run a good 1.5 gallons of water per gallon of soil. I usually do it in increments. Run a few gallons, let it drain, run a few more, let it drain...
