Thanks for that. I hate pHing my res every day, it sucks =\ My last grow in soil was so much easier, but I guess it's worth having so much control over it. I have a soil grow going now that is in its first week of flowering and I've only watered it once, after vegging for 30 days.

If I use organic nutrients in my flood and drain, along with your organic tea, will I have to pH my reservoir? I thought I read somewhere that I wouldn't have to. Thanks for the info as well +

I'm using FoxFarm organic nutrients in my flood and drain and my plants are beautiful and stanky and what have you. Only complaint is the residue left. If I didn't like FoxFarm so much I'd probably try something like DynaGro, but why fix what's not broken?

I thought that hydroton didn't wick, so if the container was 9" tall and the water rose up 4" then how would it reach the 1" rockwool insert that's 4" above the water level?

Another thing is that my table could only flood up to like 4". The closest square pot to 2 gallons would be the 1.5 gallons which is 9" tall, that wouldn't work would it?

I just calculated that 6x6 square pots hold like a gallon, would a 1 gallon container be big enough for a 3.5' plant?

So 6" square pots filled with hydroton and using 1" rockwool cubes, and that'll be fine? Sounds good to me, should I flood it like 6 times a day?

I already have a system set up, just trying to figure out a couple last things. @ hellraizer what size container do you recommend? I'll have 4 plants on a 2x2 flood table.

I would rather use the 1" rockwool cubes I have if possible. Would the 1" cubes sustain a full plant in a square pot or a net pot with hydroton?

I use 4" rock wool cubes at least 2 feet of roots come out of my plants. I've already bought enough hydroton to fill my table since I got one hell of a deal on it, so I was thinking of 6" net pots filled with hydroton using 1" rockwool cubes and the rest of the hydroton filling the table. The...

Anybody else have input on this?

I'm also leaning mainly towards Oasis cubes, they seem to be better than the others.
