This is a stone bezel for a rather plain looking turquoise I had on my personal bench. This was supposed to go with this thing I engraved to make it a ring, but now I'm having second thoughts

I patched and repainted this wall so that I could install a new shelf over my bench. I like it. It took a few days to do this, so it is nice to have my home studio available again.

Here's a new one today, 14k yg pendant from rolled stock. Hand engraved French fish tail settings, 6 2mm diamonds and a peridot.

All finished with this one with 5 minutes left in the day. Not much time for photos. Center is a lab OEC 1.5ct.

Over a hundred years old. Look at the cut of the diamonds. Way before the invention of the old European cut. Back in a time when pieces like these had a custom hand made box to go with. And, the opals are still whole and show no signs of crazing.
