Yes, I have some pre 98 bubbas. Starbud. Their ok. And regular seeds r the same way. Grow out, sex under 18 n 6. Clone, flower clones and select best ones. Start over if more variety needed or quality yield not quite perfect. Save only best grow out more seeds.

It also is dictated genetically and not all supposed purple strains purp. But usually it comes when a it's colder, and b when flushed.
