Dropped 2 Sour Cherry females into flower. Phenos look very similar. Does it look familiar to anyone?

PPM measurement should be of the total solution.

Some were on the top of the water, some on the sides of the res. Mostly walking around the roots tho. They didn't seem to affect it too much but it is much nicer just not having them around.

I have had those, in my case they were gnats. Definitely not root aphids. I say "were" because I got Hot Shot No Pest Strips. Gone within a week.

The curled up edges of the leaves seem to indicate heat/moisture stress

It's called hindsight, always 20/20. Reading is good, discovering who knows what they are talking about is better, then read. Experience is still the best teacher. Pay attention to the lessons.

Plants are ready when they are ready, not according to work schedules.
