    Late lollipopping pruning

I am glad that you were able to see some of my other posts. It does make a difference when all the plants efforts go to maturing the fat bud up top and not all that LARF down below.

You are fine. Between Day 30 and Day 35 is when I typically lollipop.

We got a light dusting overnight too. It's far less drab when there is new snow on The Shores.

You too? Some wise doink decided to launch some at 1:30 AM down the road. At first I was not happy ... then I saw some ground flower ... soon I became more happy.

A Happy New Year to everyone - light snow squalls and all - from The Shores. Since I wore #25 during my entire 36 seasons of Beer Leagues baseball, I am calling this my year. Day 36 of 12/12 - I am only whipping one of the ladies out today. After inspecting the tent this morning, I have...

Man I wish I could ... but Mrs. S. friends are all older geezers and not the younger spry geezers like we are. They can't handle wandering through snow to drop all of those Christmas trinkets and shit. Ergo ...

Those machines often kicked you back in a mean way. That Triumph probably growled as a prelude. Many sore hips and knees later I finally went GL push button.

Love the Geezermobile!!!! Wonder if you could bolt a set of those old Vettor side bags to it ... I think we did the right thing with going the real estate route vs the car & bike money pit.

My Yamaha 650 Twin was also a kicker ... and my back and I agree with you @raratt - it was easier to find a hill to roll down to get that little thumper going rather than trying to kick start it

Loved the big Honda touring bikes and preferred the Valkyrie ... the Gold Wing without all the plastic. Smooth and comfy and with a gentle roll of the throttle, those Valkyries were off like a shot ... ... but Mrs. S. and I chose real estate.

Not since 2012 when I sold "Old Gold" ( 1979 GL1000 ) to help purchase our property here on The Shores. I thought I would miss riding more ... but I don't.

Lot of hazards riding a bike - and it did seem like most of them have wings. Wore the 1/2 shell helmet ... which was just a "skid lid" with ear flaps ... and took WAY TOO MANY bumble bees off the cheek. At 120 km/h, felt like I was hit with a hammer.
