    Wattmeter for hlg-240h-c1750?

Sorry - I offer not an output energy monitor but an input energy monitor: $20 simple plug-in way to add energy monitoring with the bonus of time scheduling: use a smart plug that features energy monitoring. TP Link HS110 uses an app to program on and off times and displays real-time Watts and...

    Cxm22 questions

Good parts list. hlg600-52b will be operating in constant current mode so each cob will get about 52 volts and consume 58 watts. Are you going to buy the 133mm pin fin heatsinks? https://cobkits.com/product/133mm-passive-pin-fin-heatsink-for-clu048cxm22vero-29/

    HLG 600 Remote Control

Do you have specific timer in mind? Any device that has a relay output whose terminals are user accessible can be used. Any digital 5 volt DC timers could be used. Any voltage timer with the relay output could be used.

    HLG 600 Remote Control

You could use a simple switch between the RC+ and RC-. Open the switch and the LEDs turn on. Close the switch and the LEDs turn off and the LED driver draws less than 0.5 Watts stand-by power. Look for the word FUNCTION on the left side of the data sheet to see the brief RC info. RC+ could be...

    Quantum Boards Grow

@captainmorgan much props on your setup. Could the QBs run a little cooler if they were rotated 90 degrees to get a 'chimney effect' from heat rising between the fins. Horizontal fin mounting might not fully take advantage of convective cooling.

    A question for DIYers

A one watt diode would do. I just picked some higher voltage blocking diodes because I had no idea what the LED driver open circuit voltage would be.

    A question for DIYers

Your schematic is correct and both of those diodes will work fine, but be sure to insulate those diodes with some shrink-tubing. @1212ham is correct = these silicon auctioneering diodes will use about 0.6 volts, reducing the amount of voltage at the LED strip. Why use these diodes? The 350ma...

    A question for DIYers

You could use auctioneering diodes to keep the current from flowing into the driver that is turned off. Put one diode Anode in series with the + output wire for each driver. Connect the cathodes of both diodes together then into the + input of your LED strip. Connect both of the drivers -...

    Considering the switch!?

600 watts of HID = one hot light source for the garden & you might use a light rail light mover to improve canopy coverage. Hot so must be high above canopy. No helpful DIY HID forums for you to enjoy. 600 watts of LED = four (or more!) large area light emitting sources for better coverage of...

    Driver help please

I'm saying that you have four Vero 18 COBs on a 22" heatsink. You could use one Meanwell HLG-60H-C350B 350mA driver to power all four cobs on the heatsink. Each COB would be run at about 15 watts. Or, you could use two drivers on that heatsink. Just trying to get the "big picture"...

    Driver help please

@giggywatts the APC-35-350 should drive three Vero 18 at 350mA. You said "What i have is three 5.4 x 22" usa heatsinks with four cobs each" & "I have the vero 18 d two to each driver". Do you have two drivers mounted on that 22" heatsink, and do you have any objections to replacing the two...

ILuminar Aurus iL8 Review & Grow

@Big Perm Thanks for posting. I assume the center H piece is grounded. Are the pontoons also grounded via the black cables? I think the pontoons are clipped onto the underside of the H with electrically insulating plastic parts. Just asking - not shopping around.
