How much far red in my HLG 600 RSPEC?

I drown my roots (hydro) but that doesn't sound like a lot of water, especially with the low RH. Your ambient temperature is fine but RH is pretty low. Shoot for 60% in veg. Do you have pictures going back as far as a couple of weeks ago? I'm thinking this didn't happen suddenly.

    Biscotti & Gorilla Zkittlez, DWC

If you can't get water temps down, how about adding beneficial bacteria or using a chemical (hydrogen peroxide) to run "sterile"?

How much far red in my HLG 600 RSPEC?

Temps at 78 and RH in the 40's is a high VPD so your transpiration rate is about 50% higher than expected. If it drops to 40%, there's a lot of water leaving the plants very quickly. This chart assumes that leaves are 2°F cooler than ambient. Even a 1° difference makes a significant change in...

How much far red in my HLG 600 RSPEC?

Yeh, 600 is very low to be having issues. Grow lights don't put out much 730nm light. Light in the wavelength induces cell elongation and that's not "a good thing" in cannabis growing. I got the spectrum chart from the spectrum report on the HLG website for the 600 RSpec and ran it through...

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

Understand. I was surprised. Looks like things have changed. :-) That was A and B and I use a bowl trimmer. Nothing magical just a shitton of light. I did spend some quality time with chat/Grok and will be making some adjustments but hydro + lotsa light = lotsa weed. That's sounds about...

    Forbidden fruit breeders cut - dwc , 4x4 , jacks , kind x750

I had no idea upstate NY got that hot but it's great that the plant isn't getting fried. "I’d say 30-40 days now and I’ll be all wrapped up" - yup, you're in the home stretch. Next grow will be a lot easier.

Early flower stage. Lots of new branches on manifold

It looks like you've got plenty of photons without the blue. That's great! I hear you. Buying water can get expensive. If you're using tap water, get a copy of the water quality report for you town/city to see what's in the water. Most tap water has a "fair amount" of dissolved solids and that...

    Forbidden fruit breeders cut - dwc , 4x4 , jacks , kind x750

Everything's looking great! How are the temps outside? I hope things have cooled off. 82 is a little high but the big deal is temps of the buds. That's where this comes into play: And now that you're heading into the final stretch, get lotsa air flow under the canopy. That's one of the...

New sealed room c02 and ac many questions please help

Damn, all sorts of people reading but no one replied? Well, I'm jealous 'cause I'm in a 2' x 4' tent in ambient CO2. I do end up at with good yields (abut 700gm/sqaure meter) but the main reason is that I give my plants a lot of light. Zero hands on experience with enhanced CO2 but Bugbee...

Early flower stage. Lots of new branches on manifold

I'm not saying that you need to reduce light levels but the high angle of the leaves caught my eye. the Per my signature block, I'm a big believer in feeding plants well. Each of those lights has a purpose but some are appropriate at different stages of grow or different time of day. I thought...

Is this supposed to be like this?

While looking for some under canopy lighting I was rummaging around the Mars website and found this. Those are the VG40's but you can poke the button to get product info for the VG80. Are you looking for light above the canopy or below? If it's the latter, the new Mars under canopy light looks...

Early flower stage. Lots of new branches on manifold

Your plants are "praying" at extreme angles and my belief is that indicates that they're on the cusp of hitting their light saturation point. My personal approach is "to remove all doubt" and use a meter to determine PPFD. If that's a UV light, I'd use it sparingly/per the manufacturer's...

    Should i defoliate?

No. In general, defoliating before flip and then after the end of stretch (about day 14) will result in an improved outcome but I don't see that your plants have so many so many leaves that the plant would benefit from defoliation.

Aiming 400g 3x3 Runtz Muffin in hydroponics. I have poor sight

That first picture really threw me. "What the hell happened?" Then I realized it was an sub canopy lighting! ;-) That's a beautiful, full tent!

    autos

The great thing about cannabis is that it will grow at light levels between ~60µmol and ~1000µmol. Autos will thrive at 1kµmol and you can run them 24/0 from drop to chop, if you want. It really comes down to what the grower wants from the plants. Do you want this? Or do you want that...

Is this supposed to be like this?

"convict settlements"— got a kick out of that. Spider has confused the issue by having two types of lights under the "R80" name. One is a pure 660nm light, the other is a full spectrum. My posting discusses the 660 light but there can be an argument for using the full spectrum light in some...

    RDWC Nutrient Inquiry

Oh. Got it. I didn't see the big tube going out to the res. That's a really nice setup. I'd love to have the room for something like that but no such luck. I've got 2' x 4' tent against the back wall of the garage with a door to the left and build in cabinets to the right so I'm SOL for...

Beautiful plants! That's a different setup though, right? I don't see DWC but not RDWC.

HELP me get back? LED's vs HPS? I Notice a difference. Do you?

I've only ever grown in LED, going back to my one grow in 2017 where I used a blurple. Started up again in 2021 and have, I'll admit, collected a variety of different LED's based on the need. Well, on my justifying a "need". ;-) One change that HPS growers have to make is in ambient temps...
