i do both. top em to keep em low in the tent, then force the branches out flat via supercropping. fills my tent faster. remove the larf, trim the edges as needed at end of veg. 1 week after flip i lollipop em all, drop 2 layers of nets down, then let em go

i find the cheapest peat plugs i can at the grow shop, never name brand, and most of us probably dont need 50 packs. $10 for 25 packs is what i look for

for me FFOF is best and lowest cost option for most. i also reuse my soil. i do add perlite to new soil. when i reuse soil for next round, i add azomite and dolomite lime before transplanting. then feed like normal. BOL, happy farming :blsmoke:

with LED, typically we want to be in the 40-50w sq/ft. in a 8x4 tent you'll want to be in the 1250-1600 watt range. the p300's max out at 180w. by my calculation, with 400w cob, you're around 760w, or 23.75w sw/ft. definitely on the low side.

place seed in plug/rockwool add water place under low light, warm temps keep plug/rockwool wet until roots pop, then transplant

just drill a 1/16" hole in the pipe inside the reservoir and above the water line. it wont affect the flow but will prevent siphon
