    UV Suppliment Lighting

You can buy 4 stars seoul viosys 285nm for 80 $.. They cover a square meter if drived at 150 ma which is 60 mw..or driven at 100 ma give 40 mw which is not bad at all.. Driver should be about 10 $

Think that solacure now is in UK also...and at least until brexit arrives... they ship to Europe from there

    The Ideal spectrum.

Exactly at 580 nm...Nice you noticed that..I dont see that this wavelenght is specially important in anywhere...I mean photosynthesis graph...etc... however there is some kind of noticeable absortion....Which is phony is that..HPS is emiting hard at this yellow...maybe you are into something

    The Ideal spectrum.

Red does not shift....Red is almost all absorbed by the top of the canopy...far red is much less absorbed and goes trought the leaves to low zones..this is well studied in botany

    The Ideal spectrum.

I remember to read and post here some time ago an study that tells Far red absorption changes in relation with air humidity...so the author teorized about Far red also signaling dry or humid conditions in order to close or open the stomata

Well..thats how shade avoidance works I have read about...Ratio or red/far red change cause Far red pass much more trought the canopy..so the ratio changes...and then ...the stem grows...As the spectometer confirms... Greens also goes deep ...so maybe has some effect...

    How much uv-a?

Think that considering the low wattage are you using..and the fact that is not uvb , only uva..and also that you are at middle of flowering...you can start using it much more hours ... 26 watts of UVA is very little over a 4x8...

Close to me I am using 6 far reds each 18 660 reds...Which uva nm are you using?

Nice test. Nice plants Can you tell us which wavelenghts in infrared and uva and their % ...and far red ratio? Thanks

    The Ideal spectrum.

According with the graphs you posted... LM301H_CRI80_3500K red 14 far red 2.... a 7 ratio!!! with reds added (lot of new boards) it will be much more... Solar emission red 13& far red 13% ...almost 1/1 ratio..a little more on the red side... What ratio are you using in veg?

    The Ideal spectrum.

Yes... I think the same..I like leds a lot....but.... for me to use them and obtain benefits....I have to control VPD perfectly...and other things...Wish to have less complex lights to work with..althought I have learn a lot thanks to leds... HPS was easy..but their heat and efficiency are a...

    The Ideal spectrum.

Yes..it starts in the top...In my mothers tent...there are some old leds at low intensity..but if some shoots grow tall ..the ones that are reaching the light and getting more intensity are the first affected.. little plants and clones at the bottom are not affected

    The Ideal spectrum.

The sun usually gives more intensity during veg times than we use indoor (at least in my location), but I think the infrarred big emission of the sun..let the plant deal with the light intensity...imho...

Yes...is related to light intensity some way...and lower leaf temps using leds seems to agravate the problem

    The Ideal spectrum.

Yes!!! as I said before...it start at a moment that light get some intensity or (DLI)...is like plant is getting suddenly much light than expected...and these ...affects transpiration...nute absortion...and can be solved with correct vpd...that maybe acelerate metabolism and this way , plant use...
